JaggerClaw couldnt help but burst out laughing. "actually, there are quite a few prey peices that fly, and some live in tree." she quicken her pace down the path and heard a smallpitter patter of paws. She stopped dead in tracks and stood completely still, bearley breathing. She felt the movement and the shuffling and put her weight on her back paws and crept foward. She stepped into a small bit of grass and a few moment later ponced high in the air into a bush. She came out a few second later with a squeaking mouse. She set it down by IceKit. It tried to squirm away. "Kill it." She flicked her tail towards the mouse

Icekit stared at the mouse for a moment, her eyes wide, her whiskers twitched with amusement as she bent down and bit it, making it go limp, she lifted her head, looking at the lifeless body. " That was really cool. " She purred, remembering how she caught the mouse.

JaggerClaw smiled with joy. "yes, but you'll have to learn to catch it, at least you'll kill it. My brother when he was young, didn't want to hurt the mouse." she chuckled and grabbed the mouse in her mouth. She turned and flicked her tail for Icekit to follow her as she continued on towards the tw-leg place

Icekit's flicked her ears, she smiled brightly and she followed Jaggerclaw, her eyes gleaming as she watched her. " Will you be my mentor when im a apprentice? " She sqeaked, still smiling.

Dovestar decided to go hunting. She padded out of camp and walked through the forest, tasting the air. She could taste the faint scent of Jaggertooth, and... Icekit?! Dovestar shook her head, thinking she was imagining things.

As they neared the clearing by the twoleg place, JaggerPaw dug a hole and set the mouse inside later. "I might be, But's all up to StarClan and DoveStar. JaggerClaw thought to her self, she wouldn't mind having IceKit as an apprentice, although her first impresion of her wasn't a bright one, JaggerClaw could see good potential in the kit. She seemed eager to learn and impress. As they walked into the cleraing, JaggerClaw sniffed the air and foot print in mud on the ground. It was not prey's but a cat's. Not a Clan cat's or even a two-legs. There were also some bones laying around. 'A loner? or a rouge?' she though to her self. Suddenly a large rushtling was in the bushes near by. JaggerPaw quickly turned and felt around for Icekit before grabbing her by her scruff and diving into the bushes blindly. Suddenly a large silver tom came from the bushes. He hissed and growled. JaggerClaw hopped out and began to fight him.

Icekit crawled deeper into the bush, frightened, she flattened her ears and lowered to the ground. " Whats going on.. " She whispered to herself, she tried not to screech from fright, so she looked out from the leaves, watching the fight.

Dovestar was sure that she could scent Icekit when she realized that Icekit had been gone hen she left camp. "Icekit!" Dovestar meowed, hurriedly following Jaggerclaw and Icekit's mingled scent trail. She could soon scent a third cat who had no Clan scent on him. "This doesn't seem good," she said, nearing Twolegplace.
