"Why do you say that? You're a wonderful warior, Jaggerclaw," Shadowheart mewed, frowning. "You have no medicine cat training, anyways."

"Soon," Dovestar mewed. "Probably within a quarter-moon. She knows everything, but she needs to get her assessment first. Why are you so curious?" she asked, looking at Shadowfire. "You've been a warrior yourself for barely two moons."

Riverkit sqwirmed as his mother licked him but continued suckling eagerly.

Blacktail headed to the nursery to give Shadowheart some borage. They were running low so he made a mental note to ask Ravenpaw to gather some next time he saw her. "Hello." He mumbled to Jaggedclaw and Shadowheart. "Here is borage for your milk." After setting it down by her head the medicine cat inspeacted the kits. "All four seem healthy." Blacktail meowed, watching Riverkit sqwirm.

"You know why," said Shadowfire, everyone knew how much he loved Icepaw.

"I guess." JaggerClaw mewed. She set her paw forward shifiting around as if feeling for something. "where are your kits?" She asked quite confused, I dont see them, but smell and hear them?"She sniffed the air in the den again, "oh hello BlackTail." She greeted and reached to lick an ithc on her shoulder.

"I guess." JaggerClaw mewed. She set her paw forward shifiting around as if feeling for something. "where are your kits?" She asked quite confused, I dont see them, but smell and hear them?"She sniffed the air in the den again, "oh hello BlackTail." She greeted and reached to lick an ithc on her shoulder.

Shadowheart wrinkled her nose as she began to eat the borage, knowing that it would help her kits. "Thank-you, Blacktail," she meowed once she had finished eating the foul-tasting herb. "They're over here, Jaggerclaw," Shadowheart said, lifting Jaggerclaw's paw with her own and gently resting it on Shadekit.

"Oh," Dovestar mewed, soon realizing what she had missed. "She'll be in the warriors' den within no time."

"I hope so," said Shadowfire.

JaggerClaw purred happily and felt over the kits and picked it up by it's scruff and set it in between her paws. She nuzzled and licked the kit. "Iv'e always liked kits" she smiled lightly.

"I'm happy that I finally have some of my own," Shadowheart nodded in agreement. "If only they stayed kits forever! They'll be annoying most of the Clan in no time, I'm sure." Shadowheart mewed.

JaggerClaw laughed. "I'd like to have my own someday, But I like being a warrior for now." she smiled contently. "Maybe I'll be one's mentor!"
