The Red Shield Is Broken... *Accepting*

Haji was sitting next to Erica. The train was somewhat empty, since they were the last stop on the list. He was quietly reading the rest of his novel when Erica awoke, and he glanced in her direction.

"Evening."

[Jikkah]

Erica's eyes snapped open, regaining memory of where she was. "It's you!" she hissed and jumped to her feet.

"Lower your voice." Haji replied curtly, looking back down at the page he was reading. His eyes scanned the words silently as Erica began to get back to her usual self. She had been alright while she was asleep, but now she was beginning to irritate him again.

And it had only been a minute since she had opened her eyes....

Erica blinked and obeyed, staring at Haji. "Where are we...?" she said quietly, her gaze flicking around for an escape route.

Haji didn't look up from his book. His knees were touching the back of the seat in front of him, so she couldn't just walk out. plus, the train was still moving, and at a good 80 miles per hour too. Even she would be ludicris to try and jump out of the window or something at this peed.

"We are presently entering New York, New York." the chevalier replied, turning the page. "I am stil in the process of turning you over to the Red Sheild. But, at 3 in the morning, I doubt their offices are open at this time, so you will be residing with me until morning."

Erica frowned and crossed her arms. "I'm not going." she said stubbornly. "And once they do have me, what does the Red Shield plan on doing to me?" she questioned and stared out the window.

"We are not a cruel society." Haji mused. "I doubt they will harm you. You might even find that you like it there, with them." he added, still reading. "Most likely they will just ask you for information."

Erica snorted and glanced at him. "I won't tell you any information about Karl." she said and shifted in her seat, wanting to be far far away from Haji.

"I am not the one asking." Haji retorted, turning the page again. "You may as well relax. I'm not going to hurt you."

Erica hesitantly sat down, snorting slightly. "I won't tell them anything." she said lowly.
