"The sky is very lovely today, isn't it princess?" He asked, keeping a straight face except for a small smirk on the side facing away from the king. "And the sunset on the edge of the kingdom was very lovely." He paused for a moment. "But not as lovely as you," he whispered, barely a breath.

Kitayla had to fight herself not to blush. But, she allowed herself a brighter smile. "It was," she agreed softly. She didn't trust her voice at the time. Kit pretended to look over at something. "Oh what is that?" she asked and started pulling Tobias over to an area away from her father. There wasn't really anything, but she was great at acting like she was and just wanted a knight with her.

"What is it, milady?" He asked, following her in genuine curiosity, like a cat following a laserlight.

Once they were where her father or anybody could see them, she hugged Tobias tightly. "I missed you," she said softly as she hugged him. She buried her face in his chest, breathing in his scent. Rowan flew into the air again, now making sure nobody was coming near Tobias and Kit. Silver Blaze looked at the two people curiously. What were they doing?

Tobias was a little taken aback when she suddenly grabbed onto him, but a smile slowly spread across his face and he wrapped his arms around her. "Just the medicine I needed," he whispered. Working out in the village seemed to take a lot longer than it actually had. Tobias kissed the top of her head softly. "So what happened while I was gone?" He asked.

Kitayla blushed lightly when he kissed the top of her head. She then shrugged. "Nothin' much. Just sneaking out of the castle, getting caught, the usual," she said looking up at him. Silver Blaze continued watching with a now completely uninterested look. Rowan was keeping look-out.

Tobias gave a small laugh. "Do I need to show you how to properly sneak out again? A refresher class, maybe?" He asked, grinning mischieviously.

"Yes actually you do," Kitayla said in a matter-of-fact voice. She lightly kissed his cheek. Then rested her head on his chest. She listened to his heart smiling softly. Rowan came back down and landed on Silver Blaze's head. He didn't care.

Lyden disappeared among the knights and their griffons and such. Tobias had returned and he would need to talk to him briefly. He looked around but he could not see him, or the princess. Aldwyn, search for Kitayla and Tobias. He looked through the crowd of knights to his golden mount, staring at the ground intently as he heard his orders. He took off into the air silently and searched the area for the two.

Tobias sighed happily, enjoying having his princess back in his arms. "Well, we'll have to set up an appointment, now won't we?" He seemed to almost purr. "I love you," he whispered, his arms locked securely around her waist.
