I think my god-mother's aunt has a trap, because they have lots of stray cats they catch. We do have to take the youngest cat to the vet anyways for spaying, and I don't think he's fixed, so he does need a trip to the vet.
The only thing that scares me about the trap is that we live near the marsh, so we have raccoons and foxes that come over here at night, and I don't wanna catch one of those in a trap and then have them mad at me when I try to release them.

I do plan on keeping him, if my mom and other cats will let me. He seems like a very sweet cat though, he just needs some love. One of our cats likes to pick on him though, so I don't know if he'd be too keen on staying around here though.

:'( Thats what i wanted to find out to.... I opened my room window and she was there lying down.....I called my sister and she was dead we cried our eyes out! She had yellow on her mouth and i found some puke on the grass that was also yellow all her kittens were dead and she did not want to eat, i suspected somethingabout her and we burried her ill never find a cat like her. My sister is so sad and nothing can chear her up i didnt think she would die like this. :(

I know how you feel! My cat was sick every other month. I suspected something, but never took it to heart until the day after we found her just lying on my mom's bed. She even let people touch her! She never let anyone touch her! The next morning we took her too the vet while I played with my cousin. My mom called and she told me she wouldn't make it. She asked if I wanted to bring her home, then go back to say goodbye, but I said just to stay there. My mom said Callie had cancer, and she was swelling all over. It was the saddest moment of my life and I don't want to see my two others dieing!

Im so sorry....But we might get a new kitten and I think a male cat gave her the sickness because when we found her she had ants on her mouth and inside her eyes... her eyes where light green and the ants made it a white blue color.....

i dont know how to handle racoons or foxes like that sorry are you able to get near the cat? if so try geting close to it and have an old towl once you get near him as fast as you can put the towl over him then grab him (the towl is to protect you as much as you can) then quickley put him in a carryer

id recomend talking to the vet about keeping him and get tips from them

He did let me get close to him once, he was out in the rain and I was trying to bring him in and feed him, I would have had him but my sister scared him off. I'll try that again though.

I will, thank you, you've been very helpful.

no problem , im happy to help if it helps the cat and gets it into a safe home, iv done a week at a pound this is how they treated the dogs and cats that where impounded

dogs- aww there dogs they will find a home even if not human friendley
cat(without micochip)- yuk they have no mirochip they cant be allowed to live they dont even have a home
cat (with micochip) - awww a cat with a micro chip, put it in the top cage so if an owner comes it cant see it very well

i realy realy realy hate that place they put down a kitten after it was only there for 5 hours another only 1 hour one was ferral and i could tell cause of they look in its eye but the one who had been in for 5 hours, came up to me asking for rubbs and it wasnt under fed and it was helthy .but no ,it didnt have a microchip so it was put down poor thing (worst part is they didnt even make sure i didnt see it they pretty much showed me the poor things dead

then when i was working in the cattery part (it was a pound and kennels/kattery) i steped on a kittens paw while trying to get into the cage to feed it i felt bad but i was told to leave it ,luckerley right after feeding was grooming so i was able to secretley cheack the poor things paw wich turns out was fine

That's why I don't like the pound. We got our youngest cat from animal control, when we got her and took her to the vet, they told us she had kennel cough and herpes in her eyes. I just find it horrible how these animals can be in the worse conditions possible and they don't even care.

I'm going to be really upset if I ever find out that Trigger belongs to somebody. He's just so miserable and scared, and you can tell he belonged to somebody, it breaks my heart.

hello,
there is this really cute siamese kitten near where I live at a LAST CHACE SOCIETY meaning it will be euthanized if no one adopts it.
My mom and I really want it but my dad is not so sure and hes saying no. I have been doing twice as much chores than ussuall but he's not getting the hint that i still want this kitten. He said to my mom that I dont care about adopting it anymore and im over it.
What should i do???? I want this so badly.
I have also emailed the foster parent for this kitten and he sent us an adoption form but my dad dosen't know that we filled it out and sent it back; PLEASE HELP!
