Evan followed Lennox, who was strolling through the cave. "I know it'll work." he whispered. Alyx nodded, and said, "I must help me friends..." in the same zombie-like voice, only... an s at the end. She smiled stupidly, leaving the cave and onto the cliff. Lennox paused. "Careful... evil lurks here." he said. "Sigilyph and soul eaters."

On cue, a 'soul eater' came from the wall. It was taupe, had armor, pincirs, and an eye on top of their head. They had spinnarets on their behind, from which the others bit onto, making chains of them.

"and nosepass too, by the looks of it." Kirin said, seeing Nosepass wandering around the room.

"Pass carefully..." Lennox instructed, edging along the cliff. A sigilyph whipped around. "Get down!" Lennox shrieked softly.

Kirin ducked quickly, watching as the one of the Nosepass fired an odd ball of electricity at the Sigilyph, sending the flying totem across the room.

The sigilyph fell down, shattering. Alyx raised an eyebrow. "It helped us?"

Kirin nodded. "the nosepass are native here, and quite powerful, there are a few Nosepass deeper in the ruins that are bigger." he said.

The Shiny Nosepass that fired the ball of energy waddled out from behind a rock, this one was almost as tall as Alyx.

Alyx stared at it. "Greetings." she said, bowing her head.

The large Nosepass tried to bow in return, but fell flat on it's face. "greetings." the Nosepass said in a metallic voice.

Alyx smiled, sitting down. Her legs were sore from battle. "Do you know where the flaming bird is? We must find it."

The Nosepass nodded. "the bird you seek is deep within the ruins." the golden Nosepass said gruffly.
