The creature growled, fire scorching him. He summoned a huge blaze of hell, dark and fire, and throwing it at them. Titch gasped as he collapsed, twisted in odd positions. Alyx was knocked over, but her determination kept her alive. Evan and Lennox hid under Atlas, only getting a few burns. "Kirin? Wheres Kirin?" Evan gasped, "Is he okay?"

Kirin was thrown back against a wall, his feathers and skin burned badly.

Alyx snarled, possesed by anger, and charged at the mad eye, glowing strangly. "Die!" she wailed, shoving it backwards, hurting it. Evan screamed, "Kill it! Kill it with fire."

Suddenly, Lennox glowed red. "Can do." he smiled, charging fire between his hands, and fired a stream of flames at the creature, killing it.

Kirin slowly opened his eyes, and was greeted by bright flames, he shut his eyes immediately and groaned in pain.

Rex hissed softly and slithered out of the darkness of the ruins, in the form of an elegant, crimson Serperior.

Lennox turned around, his body burning hot like white hot metal. Evan whimpered. "Issss everyone okay?" she cried. Lennox... Alyx... nodded.

But one didnt. Titch lay on the floor, motionless.

Kirin nodded slowly, then looked at Titch. "what about Titch...?" he asked weakly.

Alyx walked over, her burns making her face ugly. "Dead." she announced, throwing her hands in the air.

Evan shrieked, toddling over to Titch. Sure enough, the Cardillow was twisted in the most painful positions, covered in burns, and not breathing.

Milotic whimpered softly and lowered her head, hissing loudly. "no...."

Kirin sighed softly and looked away.

Lennox smiled. "Lets go." he whispered, picking up the body. "Maybe..." he grinned, blinking slowly, thinking deeply.

Then, he announced, "We must find the flaming bird!"

Milotic shook her head and sighed, curling up into a little ball, losing the will to continue.

Kirin stood up slowly and shook off his burnt feathers.
