Robinwing called Tidekit back into the nursery. It was pouring rain.

Palmbreeze jumped around, back arched, as lightning struck outside. "That's weird," she meowed. "Where'd the rain come from?" It was cold and foggy earlier, but it was unusual to have the storm pick up so quickly.

Crystalnose didn't really want to wake up. She sighed softly, and opened her eyes.

Robinwing yawned. She flicked her ears at the rain.

Palmbreeze yawned with her mother. She wish she could lay down in the warm nursery, but it was too crowded as it was. Flicking her tail in farewell, she trotted out to the warrior's den.

Tidekit grinned his pelt soaked "But moma I want to splash in the puddles!" as he said this he took a leap into a huge puddle water spraying everywhere.

Polarkit ran to her mother shaking water from her pelt.

Ebonysong chuckled at tidekit and remebered all the games she andher brother had played when they were kits.

Sharkpelt shook his head at the rain sending water droplets flying in all directions then gave a small smirk.

Mangofur met up with Palmbreeze in the warriors den. She mewed slightly, then curled up and fell asleep.

Palmbreeze laid by her, like a good friend, and licked the water off her.

Finchclaw sat in the middle of camp, the rain pouring on him like the ocean.

Dolphinbreeze rested in her den. Silently, she dreamed of lightning flashing everywhere, and fire rising on the hills, and a dark figure, chasing kits from the crowd of panicking cats-- Finchclaw.

Tidekit bounded up to Finchclaw his eyes bright "I wanna be like you!" he exclaimed. "Your very brave you saved your littermate palmbreeze." he added more slowly and shamefully "I wasn't able to save my littermate soon enough I guess she died even after I saved her from drowning. She was too damaged on the inside from the ocean salts." his eyes begun to shine again "Your my kin too your my older brother."

Robinwing pulled her kits inside,"Stay in here!" She sighed. "Listen to me, or Springstar nay be postponing u
Your apprenriceship."

[Chickenpaste]

Finchclaw looked down with his glaring golden eyes and smiled at his younger brother. He licked his head and meowed, "Maybe you'll be my next apprentice. Our sister will always be in Silverpelt, every night, looking down on us. There's nothing to worry about her. Now... Go in with Mom and get warm before you catch Whitecough." He nudged Tidekit towards the den, looking encouragingly. He felt so guilty; a few moons ago, he wanted to kill this poor kit. But Tidekit looked up to him. No one had ever before.

Tidekit glowed with excitement and pride as he bounced into the nursery "So that's okay we are only like 5 and a half moons I though or something but Finchclaw is going to be my mentor and I'm going to be just like him!" he purred

Polarkit looked at her littermate funny "we can't choose our mentors if we could it would be chaos." she said with a smile
