The Basics

This roleplay is semi literate. This does not mean you have to write a paragraph per post, it means that you have to use correct grammar. Please remember that your skelly for your wolf is my first impression of you, and you will be rejected if you make it sloppy and illiterate. Your wolf's image must be real looking, but does not have to be a real photograph. No anime wolves are allowed. OCC fights must be taken to PM immediately, I have had a roleplay locked due to them. You must be realistic. Pups do not hunt. A single wolf can not take down a bison. Its obvious stuff, and it makes the roleplay less fun. Wolves can not be perfect. You may not be your own mate/crush. There are no hunters in the area unless I say so. You may use whatever skelly you want, as long as it provides basic information such as name, gender, age, and mate. Follow all of CS's RP rules or moderators will be on your tail, not me.

The Alpha Group
**Zeth, the alpha, must grant your wolf permission to join this group.

Wolves in the alpha pack are in charge, their job is to keep everything in order. They make sure there is enough food, handle disputes, and make weekly announcements at the rock. The alpha ranks can be fought over, for example another wolf could challenge Zeth for his rank, or a fae could challenge Zeth's mate to be his new mate. These have their own, high class den area.

The Delta Group
The delta wolves are hunters and fighters. They make sure the pack has enough food. If they don't, they report to the alpha. He then decides if they move or not. The fighters defend the pack. They must be willing to give their lives for it.

Zeth is a strong leader. If somebody challenges his rank, he will kill them or force them to leave, he is not likely to lose. He cares about his pack, and isn't that interested in mates. Of course he is always looking, the alpha has the most breeding rights, but he always says the pack comes first. He is dominant, and stands tall. He isn't mean, but is very strict.

Alaska is a huge brute. He is serious and has earned his rank as lead fighter. He is partially blind in one eye, and a scar is over it. Only Zeth knows how it got there. He is caring, and protects the pack with his life. Alaska is nice, but will put any wolf in it's place if his rank is challenged.

"Amahlae- Carver Of Her Own Path. A little, unusual, huh? Well, basically, I escaped from my den when I was only just born (well...I just followed my mother's scent outside...not awfully hard, is it?) and from that moment onwards my parents called me "Path Carver.". I'm guessing that maybe they thought because their cub had the iniciative to go a few paces further that usual to be fed, that she'd decided her own destiny, and not let others shape it for her? I don't know, but I suspect my mother wasn't thinking straight when she named me."

Personality
Amahlae is a friendly, enthusiastic she-wolf who likes to get to know her packmates well enough to palce her trust in them. Infact, she can't stand untrustworthy wolves, and would spend all day quite happily howling abuse at a betrayer of her confidence. Maybe it is because of this that she chooses her friends so carefully, or possibly it is simply because she's not the easiest she-wolf to get along with and so must choose another which respects her need for mutual trust and loyalty.
She will, however, quite happily joke with any member of her pack, be it her arch enemy or most trusted of friends. Just bear this in mind, her quick wit and sarcasm may seem an offer of friendship, but in reality she's probably just trying to figure you out. In a way, any wolves who catch on to what she's trying to do may become a little wary of her. Who really wants another wolf- who you probably don't speak much to- trying to learn your most hidden motives and desires?
The fae is quite happy to carry out orders of her alpha- because she realises he's Alpha for a reason, and because she does like being order around sometimes, believe it or not. For the most part, however, her respect is hard to come by and for that reasons those who rank considerably higher than her are normally the only ones who can tell her what to do without serious persuasion.
Amahlae is a fighter. She's quite prepared to scrap over shreds of meat when the winter brings hunger, or to jostle other wolves away from puddles in a drought. Survival is key, and while the fae's quite happy to share when there's enough, only her friends and family will be eating her kill when the famine is at large.

Personality
Shnuckouf is very much his sister's shadow. It's not that Amahlae makes use of his weaknesses, it's that he likes to please and knows his sister so well that Shnuck is very much aware of what makes her happy. She's 'saved' him numerous times, from bears, other wolves and sometimes even himself.
Shuckouf is intelligent, like his sister, it's just that he's more likely to think things through before snarling a spietful comment. His udnerstanding of the world is in some ways a curse, however. Though of course all wolves need meat, Shnuckouf doesn't enjoy killing. He knows that it's part of life, and he wouldn't hesitate when dealing out the death blow. However, he'd much rather scavenge from naturally felled carcasses. Of course, that opens up yet another can of worms- is wolves killing natural? Sure, but not to Shnuckouf. Unfortunately, he's a terrible fighter so hunter is pretty much the only option for him.
Shnuckouf should be an Omega. The answer to this is simply to stay under the Alpha's radar. Amahlae will cover for him if need be, but sooner or later he'll need to start pulling his weight.
If he had the strength and willpower, Shnuckouf would be one of the greatest wolves alive. Alas, all he is good for is scheming.
Shnuckouf loves friends, but finds it pretty hard to make them because it's so easy for him to be seen as useless.

Alaska sighed lightly, and walked out of his warm den into the winter's snow. He shook his pelt and stretched. Then he jogged to the stream for a quick drink, and he was ready to tackle the day.
