James shrugged. "It's not as lame as being able to turn into anything. My power does absolutely nothing at all.", he said with a chuckle, glancing behind him to see if Jamie was still asleep, which she wasn't.

Jamie was behind him, her arms crossed and a confused expression on her face. "What power?", she asked quietly, her voice soft and timid.

Alexxiz watched Jamie, nervous, wondering how much she had heard. There was still something.....dangerous feeling about her and she didnt trust her

James gulped, looking at his little sister. "Nothing. We were just talking about how mom used to be a magician before you were born.", he lied, but he hid it well.

Jamie shook her head, anger flashing in her eyes. "You're lying to me, James.", she said, turning and heading out of the room. She went straight outside, leaning against the wall.

James sighed, rubbing his face for a moment. "Okay.. I'll just let her cool down for a second.", he said, yet another unintended pun, but he didn't realize it.
