That sounds about right, plus there's some stuff to put on if it gets wet or rained on, and wipe any dirt off after you ride. Like our arenas get really dusty in the air, coating everything with dust, so it's good to just wipe that off with a cloth or something.

Think you don't wash your horse every day cuz it takes all the oils out of his coat same with a saddle (except that a saddle doesn't have a coat) if your worried buy a seat saver, I love mine and it stops alot of wear and tear.

She's been having some problems with her right hind and hip lately, not lameness, but more of a persistent stiffness. She's already on Aloe, but it's not really helping. My trainers thought that it was just from the weather changes, but she's had this pain for a few weeks now without much change, so they think it's something else. We've given her some bute, but it just made her uncomfortable, so we don't want to give her anymore of that. The chiropractor is coming out to see her this week, maybe that will help.
I rode her yesterday, but just very light flatwork so that her hip wouldn't get overly stressed. She feels like how she did when we first got her, which is not good at all. She had improved SO much, and now it kinda feels like we're back at square one. I feel so bad for her; I really hope that this is nothing serious. She's such a sweet little mare, I adore her. ;_;
