Phantom clawed at the ground. She felt so frustrated and stupid for not be accepted. For not being better then she was. She looked at her reflection again. It didn't make sense to her. Was it her eyes? Was it her color? Was it her structure? She hit her head on the ground purposely. "Why?" She whimpered as she got dirty. And for once in her life. She didn't care.

-Awww, I really hope Flame and Phantom are still good friends even after Laika's lie! Urgh! Flame is Phantom's! Get ur paws off of him! Lol JK.-

[Ditzy Doo]

A howl escaped Shadow's muzzle. His pelt bristled, he sniffed the air pointlessly, as he could not smell.

-Laika went into this secret meadow with Flame and then they started acting all romantic with each other and then Laika told Flame that Phantom and Shadow liked each other.-

Phantom raised her now muddy head at the howl. She raised her muzzle to the now very bright moon and howled back.

[Ditzy Doo]

Shadow howled a beautiful sound as if he was quoting the sound of a song, his pelt bristled as he howled yet again. But longer, more beautiful than you could imagine for such a mucsled, rude brute.

[Hazza]

-Oh I'm so mad! Now Flame will be all like: You like Shadow! Why hang out with me! Then him and Laika will be all together and all. :'( -
Phantom gasped. It was so pretty. The way it echoed through the forest made it sound so truly beautiful. Once again she raised her head, and let out a long echoing howl, something just a pretty sounding as the one Shadow did. She stopped and looked at the moon, her blue eyes sparkling with hope that maybe, just maybe... she would be accepted.

[Ditzy Doo]

Shadow listened to the howl and shut his eyes. Another howl escaped his muzzle. Harmonizing with hers.

-Uh, I know right? Phantom will be heart broken...-
Phantom rolled onto her back and kept howling while harmonizing with the beautiful voice far in the distance. Her eyes trained on the moon and the far away stars. She grew a soft smile as she continued howling. The vibrating in her chest, the sounds of the howls combining, the moon shining onto her black body. It made her feel good. A good she hasn't been able to feel in a long time. She howled a bit louder, as it echoed through every cave and forest, she knew everyone in the local area could probably hear it. Even if they were in a secret meadow...

Shadow heard the howl and it was unmistakeable who it was. He could not smell, so both his hearing and sight were sharp. Even so, he continued, harmonizing as he felt a feeling he had not felt in a long time....Happy.

Phantom stopped howling, she was out of breath because she hadn't stopped for air in a while.
