Finchclaw slid himself to a halt at the top of a sand hill. Panting, he looked down at the she-cats. "Crystalnose!" he yowled, and pounced down to her side. "What the StarClan happened?!"

Dolphinleaf ignored the tom and ordered, "Come on; we have to get her off the beach. The tide's rising." Without waiting to hear their reply, she grabbed Crystlnose by the scruff of her neck and began hauling her up the hill.

Palmbreeze was staring suspiciously at Dolphinleaf's tail when she heard her command. Hurried and unsteadily, she lowered her head and shoved Crystalnose along with Dolphinleaf.

Finchclaw, still shocked, followed beside them, not taking his eyes off Crystalnose's eyes.

Mangofur dragged along behind. Then, she noticed the look on Finchclaw's face. Ah, melancholy, she thought worriedly. She sped her pace and caught up with him, licking him comfortingly behind his ear. She smiled at him and continued padding along.

Finchclaw ignored her and kept looking at Crystalnose.

Crystalnose looked sadly at Finchclaw. She blinked her beautiful eyes at him, she realized with slightly joy that his eyes never left her's. "F..Finchclaw?" She mewed softly, like a kitten.

[Chickenpaste]

Finchclaw saw a glimmer of hope as she spoke. "Yes?"

Crystalnose groaned as she stood, supporting her own weight. "Don't.... Don't leave me..... Please...." She whispered softly, pressing her muzzle into Finchclaw's fur.

Crystalnose groaned as she stood, supporting her own weight. "Don't.... Don't leave me..... Please...." She whispered softly, pressing her muzzle into Finchclaw's fur.

((I know, but... nevermind. Just change it to where Palmbreeze and Dolphinleaf are supporting Crystalnose, not carrying her.))

Finchclaw looked at her, surprised. He backed off to the side a bit, but not enough to make her fall over.
