Waterfeather looked at his mother Brownwing with his black eyes. "Ma-ma!" He peeped, taking baby hops towards his mother. He was adorable.

"Thank you, Skyheart..." Cloudwing chirped happily. "Aw! Look at Waterfeather, he's being an adorable little Hatchling. Wait, he already is! He's soooooo cute!"

"They're all so adorable." Brownwing happily chirped. Waterfeather was next to her, staring at her with his large, cute black eyes.

Fernfeather was near her father, tweeting baby talk. If you could understand baby talk, this was what she was saying. Hey guys! Did you hear what Father said? He said that I was HIS favorite! HIS FAVORITE! I don't know what favorite means, but I bet it means something good!

Mudfeather tried standing up, but failed epically and gave an annoyed series of three peeps. Then he talked baby talk to his sister Fernfeather [who was huge compared to him.] "That's cool! I hope Mother thinks I'm her favourite. Waterfeather, too, because I think he likes being around Mother." He looked up at Brownwing, his large, dark eyes filled with admiration.

"I like Fernfeather and Sunfeather the most." Cloudwing chirped. "They're so chubby and cute and adorable... The others are as well, but I think the boys like you more than they like me... Haha."

Brownwing smiled. “I like Waterfeather and Mudfeather the best.” She chirped.
Waterfeather beamed. He hadn’t said but one peep.
Fernfeather grinned. I hope she likes Darkfeather as well, I think he’s almost in tears. she baby talked to her brother, referring to the fact that Darkfeather was all alone, still standing in the midst of his egg shell

Sunfeather hopped over to Darkfeather and pulled the Egg Shell off of him. "Get up!" She tweeted.

Mudfeather gave another peep and tried to stand up again, but failed and fell onto his stomach with a laugh. He peeped another few times and tried to get up. "Yeah..." He agreed, in baby talk again.
Darkfeather started peeping sadly. Did his parents not like him or something? And now Sunfeather was being mean to him... Well she wasn't really being mean, but he didn't like what she was doing. He was cold now, without the egg shell.

Sunfeather put her wing around Darkfeather. "Hop around, its warms you up." She peeped baby talk to him.

Brownwing went over to her son Darkfeather. "What's wrong, Darkfeather?" She cooed, covering him with one of her wings to keep him warm

"Too hard..." Peeped Darkfeather in baby talk, and he groaned and rolled over onto his back, trying to get away from his sister.
