You didn't know me for very long, but I got to know you. In the brief day in which you employed me, I was happier than I had ever been. The recession hit my family hard. My lovely wife and I recently had six squidlets, and we have more on the way. With this job, I could make ends meet, and help my family to thrive.
Alas, my chance was gone too soon. I was let go after one day on the job. I keep wondering what I did wrong to get dismissed so abruptly. I'm sure I tried my best to please you. My whole family put on our cutest squid faces, we let you cuddle and love us.
And then we were gone.
The mackerel have evicted us from our home. We have nowhere to go. My children were due to start school soon. Now, I don't know what we'll do.
I'm not asking for very much. All we need is a pet group to live in. You don't have to feed us, or even keep us for very long. You can send us to friends, dress us up, or do what you will with us. Any little bit will help.
Please. Do it for my children.
