(Well, I'm now going to make time for writing my reply)
A little snow... LEt's say it's nine oçlock...

Gackt and Asagi

Gackt looked at Hayumi who had just sat down next to him and listened to her words. He shook his head, saying 'I don't think he's that good. I'm merely watching him because he seems to be my rival. I like to check out the competition, but I believe I'm a far bgeter singer than he is.' Asagi finished his song and nodded to Mana, saying 'Thank you, you play very well.' Then he walked past Gackt and as their eyes crossed, a certain feeling of uneasyness made Gackt shiver. Asagi smiled slightly and walked on.
He went to Fransesca and said 'Hey, maid, what are you doing all by yourself?'

Masashi

Masashi nodded and said 'Yeah, this party seems to be a gret opportunity to make friends for everyone. Also, it is quite good that the young ones learn about the D clan as they are pretty important. I do hope that everyone leaves a good impression...' He sighed 'Lucine, we keep talking about the others and how important this party is but... Why can't we jsut leave them and enjoy ourselves?'

Kyo

'Cameryn, why is it that you're holding my hand tighter than a moment ago? Are you scared that the D clan members are goign to steal me from you?' He took her to the dance floor and started dancing with her, then added 'I will always love you and only you. You odn't have to be afraid.'

Taiji

'Sayumi!' Taiji yelled 'Are you coming upstairs?' He wan't really fond of that talking about how cute the baby was. He never really liked babies anyway. 'I have a room on the third floor for you!'

Die

Die smiled a little at Yvette, then said 'Well, I do like to see you in your casual outfit as well. I prefer that above the dress, I think. I like it when girls are able to move around quick, tht makes more of an opponent for a fight.' He then shrugged and added 'I'm not really good at dancing either, so let's forget that I even mentioned it. Shall we go outside maybe? Watch the stars?'

Yu~Ki

Yu~Ki noticed that everyone was inside so he had closed the gates of the garden and the house and went inside. He saw that everyone seemed to be having fun and everyone was already talking to someone else, so he jsut sat down somewhere. He was shy as always when it came to making new frineds, even though he knew who most of the D clan members were.

Tetsu

Tetsu was standing in the same room as most of theo thers were, watching what everyone was doing and mnaking sure that nothing was giong out of hand. He did this on most parties that he gave as someone had to make sure that everything was goign according to plan.

(And Kamijo is still dancing with Hizaki. Kouji is also just walking around somewhere. Do you guys know naything I could make him do? Did I miss someone?)

[Queen of Spades]

Francesca, who had been eyeing some of the cuter guys, suddenly looked up at Asagi. "Oh, uh, sorry sir. Voltaire told me I was to leave him for the night and enjoy myself, have some fun... Only, I don't really know what to do, so I thought I'd look around for interesting people." She said, throwing in a respectful smile. She was mainly Voltaire's maid, but she knew he wasn't opposed to others using her for really anything, so she was always on her toes.

Lucine nodded. "Of course, I'm sorry. I get too worked up about these things." She said with a light smile. The smile turned back into a straight line, and she let her eyes move as if she were looking around. She didn't know quite what to say to him. She figured she wasn't allowed to talk about anything considering the others and the party, so that made things a bit limited. "You smell a little different tonight than any other time. Something smells a little sweeter on you."

Sayuri hurried up to the third floor, and nodded apologetically. "I apologize." She said, then looked up at the door. "Very good. When Ezekial comes back I can tell him that his child is safe, then." She stated, then looked down at Nevena. She looked pretty sleepy, but from the last year or so, she knew she wouldn't go down without a fight. She'd start crying as soon as Sayuri put her down to nap. She started humming softly, hoping to make her fall asleep in her arms before she put her down.

Yvette nodded. "As do I. It may show a slightly excessive amount of skin on my legs and back, but it has good mobility." She said, then nodded to him. "Yes, then it would probably be best if we didn't dance. If we both have two left feet, it'll be a disaster." She stated, looking at the door to the outside. "Sure. That sounds like a good idea. I won't get cold for a while." She said, somewhat to herself, then looked up at him. "Though what'll we do if it's snowing and cloudy?"

((Hm, I dunno. All of my characters are tied up. I suppose he could join the conversation of Anya and David if you wanted.

David smiled soflty at Anya "Yeah, I was sure you will be very happy hearing about that party. It's obvious you like dressing up in pretty things and masquerade ball is perfect occasion" he said with a nod and looked around watching D clan members "Girlfriend? Well, as for now I don't see anyone who I would be interested in. What about you? Looking at boys to find the handsome one?" he asked curiously younger girl.

Kara got a little sad when Alain told her he ahve sights on some girl but she didn't let him to see it. She was good in hiding her emotions if they weren't too strong. She finished her first glass of wine and put it empty on the table. She looked at Alain pouring wine to his glass again, she was curious how much he can drink before he would get drunk. She smiled thinking how funny it would be to see him drunk. How he would react? She completly forgot she was holding his hand and not even thinking someone may see it. She looked at two men from D clan and shook her head "Are all of them that perverted? Oh, I will help you for sure if he would try to touch your mom"

Nuke grined "Well then, good luck to you too. You are more lucky than me because you have Francesca at least, I wish I could have someone like her only for myself" he said and waved at him as Voltaire walked away. He poured glass of wine for himself and quickly drank half of it, looking around for girls. He spotted one that was looking nice (Yvette) but unfortunately she was with someone. He sighed and looked around one more time, he hoped girls that were playing will stop soon and join the party. Maybe he could take one of them.

Hayumi couldn't belive what she just heard from the man, how he could think he is better than her master. It was impossible, no one was better than him. She shook her head energetically "I don't belive you, Asagi-sama is the best. No one can sing better than him" she smiled at Asagi when he walked past them and was looking at him for some time. She felt jealous when he walked to Francesca, he could ask her about anything and he don't need Francesca.

Miko walked back to the main room and looked arounf rof Anya, seeing she was talking with David she smiled slightly deciding to not disturbing their conversation. She walked to the table and took a glass of wine and took a sip from it. She looked around curious who could be little Nevena's father. It was probably someone very handsome but with those masks she couldn't see who was and who wasn't handsome.

"Oh? Well I bet you'll find someone tonight." Anya told him. She looked up at him and grinned at his comment. "Yep! I figure there should be at least some young, hot guy out there. They can't be younger than me, though, so anyone younger is out of the question. A few years older would be great, though." She said, continuing to scan. "I wish we didn't have these masks on, then I could tell what everyone looked like."

"No. Some are very modest, one even has a daughter he is raising because his wife died. Others are quite modest as well, it's just the majority of them are quite perverse." Alain said, glancing around at everyone. He didn't like the fact that his mother was dancing with Masashi, so he tried to not look over. He still greatly disliked him, and now he was getting close to his mother. It was a most unpleasant sight. There was only one good thing about him, and that was the fact that he could protect her. He finished off the second glass of wine quite quickly, and sighed. "I'm sure Masashi would help as well. I do not mind if the man asks her to dance and does nothing to violate her, but as soon as something goes wrong, then from the sound of it, all three of us would be after his blood."

As Voltaire looked around, he noticed a girl who had strayed from the action(Miko) and made his way over to her. "Greetings. Quite the nice place you five clans have." He said, swirling around the wine in his glass. "You're Tetsu's little girl, aren't you? Miko was it?" He questioned, looking at her with a kind smile. "You're a pretty little thing, you know? Even with that mask on." And thus started his little game of winning over a girl.

Ezekial finally made his way inside, after getting the carriages situated. He looked around, wondering if Sayuri had found some place for Nevena. She was nowhere to be found, so he assumed she did. He made his way over to where he saw Asagi, but instead of interrupting his conversation, he went to Hayumi. "Hello Hayumi. When Asagi is done, could you please inform him the carriages are put away? And also, did you see Sayuri with Nevena? I'm assuming she found a room, as I don't see her, but did you see her anywhere? I'm just a bit worried is all, common parental habit I suppose."

Cameryn smiled faintly as she danced with Kyo. "Oh I'm not worried about the D clan females. I'm worried about the people in general." She said softly. Her eyes found his when he said that he loved her. A faint pink blush appeared on her cheeks as she gazed at him. "I love you too." She replied. It felt good to tell him that. She rarely told anyone that she loved them, even with her family. She felt the need to tell him that he was her first lover, but she kept quiet.

Adrian smiled brightly, a faint laugh escaping her lips. "Well At least somepeople are hopeful for love. Me, I'm unbeliever of love." She said with a shrug. She raised her wine glass to her crimson lips and took a sip. "I'm an assassin trainee. So even if I found someone I cared for, I would never admit it." She said bluntly.

Daisuke

'We will have a snowfight.' Daisuke simply said and he started walking outside 'Unless of course you don't want to ruin your hair...' He joked with a slight grin. When he walked outside, he foudn that it wasn't cold at all and the sky was bright, stars clearly visible yet there was snow on the ground. 'We could lay down...' He said.

Masashi

'Oh, maybe... I don't know.' Masashi said 'I can't remeber having bought new perfume or something... Though I was in the garden when you were changing, so maybe you smell the flowers.' He played a bit with Lucine's hair as he found himself dreaming away sllightly and he sighed softly. 'Lucine, I do not know a lot about you.' He said 'Will you tell me some more?'

Asagi

'You could go talk to that man over there, or the guy over there or the clanhead over there.' ASagi said as he generally nodded at the people that he ment. 'The first I said is quite shy, but a real gentleman, the second is out-going and flirty, the third is... Well... Tetsu, you know...'

Taiji

Taiji sighed softly and said 'Anyway, the key to this room is on the table. I'll be down stairs if you need me.' Then he walked away. When he got downstairs, he saw Miko talking to a much older man, which quite alarmed him, so he deceided to watch them. He knew that the man was from the D clan and he knew what kind of people the D clan were.

Gackt

'I could let you hear ,y voice.' Gackt said adn he stood up 'Then again,. maybe it's not worth it. Your judgement is already clouded by the love for your master and the.. Jealousy you now feel.' He grinned and walked away, past Asagi, not even looking at him, and he went to one of the balconies.

Kyo

Kyo nodded and said 'Well, the D clan people are... I suppose I could say that they are not bad people, but... They are, in fact, though they are friendly as well... It's a weird thing...' He sighed 'I know them better than I want to know them and what the clanhead has done is almost like what the Marisu do. I'll tell you what I mean later tonight, okay? If you want to hear it, of course.'

(Yu~Ki, Tetsu, Gackt, Kouji and Taiji are now open, although Taiji is watching Miko and Voltaire)

David looked around for the D clan members and then back at Anya "Maybe, there aren't too many girls from the D clan and I don't think any of them would be interested in me" he said and chuckled, he took his glass of wine and took a sip from it "But there are many young boys so you will find someone for sure" he noded at her last words "That's true, it would be much easier without those masks. I hope that around an hour before ending ball we will be able to take off masks. I would like to see how D clan mambers looks like"

Kara calmed down a bit but she still didn't let go of Alain hand, she felt much safer that way "Daughter?" she looked around "I don't see a kid anywhere. Wait, I saw a woman with baby earlier. I think she went to quiet room to put her sleep" she noded to herself and then giggled "Yeah, I think Masashi likes your mom. They are togehter since the masquerade ball started and your mom looks happy" she looked up at Alain "That's good, don't you think so? She should be happy and Masashi can make her happy. They must be good friends" she added and looked at the bootle with wine thinking if she should pured her glass once again. After few seconds she finally decided to fill only half of her glass with wine. She smiled looking at Alain mother and Masashi, then she looked back at Alain "Wanna dance?" she asked him hopefully.

Miko turned her head hearing someone voice, she looked up and saw strange man. She was sure he was from D clan. She smilled slightly and noded "We are all taking care of this place so it looks beautifull, you never know when the guests will come" she said and blinked beeing surprised "I am Miko but how can you know? Did we ever met?" she asked slightly confused and smiled with a small blush on her cheeks "Thank you, Anya helped me with dressing up and everything. I am not good with girly things"

Hayumi turned her head to Ezekial and smiled slightly "Good evening Ezekial. I will tell him right away. About your daughter, I saw Miss Sayuri walking upstairs with some strange man. There is probably room for Nevena but I didn't saw which room they entered" she exlpained the situation and then looked at Gackt with dark blush when he told about jelaousy. Was it that obvious she was jelaous? "I am not jelaous" she said after him and turned her head at the room. She could find someone to talk with, maybe even to bite but she wouldn't do this without Asagi permission.

Francesca looked at the people that Asagi nodded to, and clasped her hands in front of her. "Well, I always do like the more flirty ones. I suppose I could try him, what's his name?" She questioned, looking back at Asagi. Despite her original appearance of being a shy little maid, pretty much everyone who knew her also knew that she wasn't shy all the time and her shy self was simply a cover, at other times, she was quite flirty and seductive herself. Any time she wanted to have her way, anyway.

Yvette smirked when he mentioned a snow fight. "Maybe we can do that later, I doubt Master Tetsu would want us to look like we had just dumped water over ourselves if we need to greet the D clan further." She said, nodding when he mentioned laying down. "It would be a lot easier to watch the stars that way... But again, there's always that little worry about the plans for tonight..." She muttered, looking around. She grabbed his hand and dragged him over to a bench on the garden path. "Here, we can sit on this and watch the stars and we won't get wet." She said with a rather triumphant smile.

"That is most likely it, then." Lucine concluded with a nod. She felt him playing with her hair slightly, then shrugged. "There isn't much more to tell. I was married a while until he died, I'm the only female clanhead, my son is Alain, I'm blind..." She muttered the last part. "There isn't much more than that. I'm a relatively boring person once I think about it." She said with a light laugh.

"Well, I guess all people have different views. I know there's a person to accept me as myself, but I'm waiting. I'm not saying anyone has to acknowledge their love, and many don't, so you'd probably be one of them." He then looked around the room. "But it's pretty apparant I won't find anyone from our five clans."

Sayuri nodded, quietly thanking him, then laid Nevena on the bed. She was pretty much asleep, and stayed that way when she was put down. Sayuri grabbed the key, and left, locking the door behind her. She would give the key to Ezekial. She made her way downstairs, scaning the room for him. Once she found him she made her way over.

Ezekiel nodded to Hayumi, then looked over to see Sayuri coming. "Yes, thank you, Sayuri is here now." He said, turning to the dark haired woman. "Here is the key to her room. It is on the third floor, fifth door on the left. If you need me, I will likely be around." She walked away after bowing slightly to him, and Ezekiel pocketed the key. He soon went over to where there was some wine and poured himself a glass.

"Yes, that was likely his daughter." Alain told her, then narrowed his eyes slightly. "I don't like the man and do not approve, but I suppose it's not my say in who she remarries. I'm just her only son son after all." He was silent after this, his hands fidgeting around the glass. "Sure..." He trailed off, placing the glass down and poured more wine for himself once she finished. He finished it off quickly. "Once you're done with that we can."

"Well, there's a red haired girl over there, an older girl with the green dress there, a girl with that Asagi character... You should go talk to one. I'm sure you'll charm them by the end of the night with your dashing looks." She joked, crossing her arms. She continued to look around the room, eyes falling on a dark haired individual. "Target locked on. Kid with black hair. See ya David!" She called as she walked over to her new target(Nuke). He seemed young enough. "Hello!" She greeted cheerily. "I'm Anya, might I get your name? I saw you from over there, you looked kind of lonely."

"Ah, I suppose." Voltaire said with a nod. "Oh, I know just because your father is Tetsu. And you're the next clanhead of his clan." He said, bowing slightly. "I am also a next clanhead, of course of the D clan. I am Voltaire Leon D, but simply call me Voltaire. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss Miko." He said, throwing a smile her way. "It's all quite beautiful. Your friend has some very nice tastes."

Kara looked curiously at Alain "Who told you Masashi wants to marry your mom? Maybe they are just friends, don't go too far with your minds" she said and giggled slightly. She took her glass of wine which was only half full and drank it quickly to be able to dance with Alain. She twisted her face as it was too much at once and put the glass down ont the table. She looked up at Alain with a smile "Ok, let's go dance" she looked at his glass and tilted her head slightly "Didn't you drank too much?" she asked him worriedly.

Nuke was drinking the wine when he saw a girl walking to him, he smiled miscelanously. Great, the victim came to him without him doing anything. His smile quickly vanished as the girl was close and he looked up at her with a soft smile "Nice to meet you Anya, I am Nuke from D clan" he said politely and gave her a bright smile "Depends on what kind of lonely do you mean, I am here with my uncle" he said and pointed at tall man talking with Miko "But yeah, at this moment I am lonely. Do you want some wine?" he asked seeing everyones were drinking but she didn't have her glass.

David looked at girls who Anya pointed at, he noded few times and then looked back at anya "But you know, I am bi so I can have interest in boys too" he said a hrrible true to Anya and chuckled "It may be weird for you but I am just like this" he added and waved to her as she walked away "Good luck with getting boyfriend!" he shouted after her and chuckled again. He took a glass of wine and quickly drank half of it.

Miko smiled brightly "So you know my dad, I didn't know. On the other side it's probably him who made this masquerade bal" she said and bowed slightly too to him "Nice to meet you Voltaire then" she said thinking that man was a true gentleman, he was very nice. Maybe because both of them were next clanheads so they were in the same ranking. She noded at his compliment about the castle "Well, it's obvious most of job we females did" she said and giggled.

[Queen of Spades]

"Maybe not yet, but just wait, soon they'll be holding hands everywhere they go, then going on little outings together, after that comes their kiss, then going steady, and before you know it, boom he proposes. Hell, he may even skip a few steps." Alain told her, then started to take her out to the dance floor. When she asked if he drank too much, he shook his head. "No. Three glasses is about my limit for an hour. I may get a slight buzz, but that's about it. Though if I do get drunk, I'm quite manageable. I just need to be told I need to go to my room, and I'll get there."

"Nuke... That's an interesting name." Anya said with a smile, then looked to where he was pointing, not quite liking the looks of the older man, but didn't mention it. "Well, I'm free to talk to if you want. I was getting a bit bored, and you seemed like the best candidate to talk to." She said, looking at the wine glass, then shaking her head. "No, I can't drink, I'm under legal age. I'm only fifteen, and Tetsu probably doesn't want an underage girl drinking."

"I don't know him personally, but yes, I do know him." Voltaire said to her, then laughed lightly. "Yes, I can see him organizing something like this." He said with a nod. "Oh, but women aren't the only ones with a sense of taste for interior decorating. I happen to pride myself in some as well, and I'm sure there are some nice decorators in the male party around here" He added, looking around. "Say, do you suppose you could give me a tour of sorts? I haven't been here in ages, and would love to see what the place looks like again."
