[Chii-sai]

The sun rose high that morning, and all was peaceful in the Pride Lands.

Tete looked up at the peak on her home, remembering yesterdays events. Not but a few days ago the old king Mohatu, her father, was killed during a hunting accident, and the pride lands couldn't be left without a king. Luckily, although her father and mother only had herself and her elder sister, Uru, Ahadi had taken guidance from Mohatu. Ahadi had joined their pride quite a while ago, and Uru was already expecting his cub. And so, Uru and Ahadi took the Pride Lands under control, leaving Tete a princess still.

'A princess who will never become queen.' Her mind whispered to her.

Poor Tete shook her head to rid herself of nasty thoughts. She was truly happy for her sister and brother in law! And she'd do everything she could to help them rule the Pride Lands justly.

"Tete!" The young lioness was pulled out of her thoughts by her Aunt Mende, who was standing a few feet away with Vuli, Panya and Themani, "Ready to hunt?"

"I thought I was cub watching today?" Tete asked back quizzically. There was a booming amount of cub births as of recent- four cubs to be exact.

"Your mother is watching them, and Moyo is helping her!" Mende stated, a soft smile playing on her lips, "Come, a hunt will make you feel better!"

With a slight shrug of her shoulders, Tete followed her aunt and pride sisters out for an unfortunately tragic hunt.

Tete wouldn't be coming back with her pride sisters- she, too, will be lost, killed by a wildebeest kick to her head, just like her father. Like a chain of events, grief stricken Angani, past queen of Pride Rock, will also pass away, followed closely by her sister Mende by sickness, leaving Uru and her cubs the last of Mohatu's line.

A bit of a sad tale, but one that shouldn't be forgotten. I see a little bit of Taka/Scar in his aunt Tete- both physically and emotionally. I'd love some feedback!

Is this true?! I never got to read the whole series because my stupid computer spazzed out. I knew about the whole Uru/Ahadi love and Mohatu being killed, but I've never heard of Tete... D':

Oh no, Tete is just a fan made character I made! Her mother Angani as well! I just enjoy TLK controversy and made up characters is all ^-^' Guess I should have put that.

There are a ton of people who think Ahadi was Mohatu's son, and Uru was a rogue or outsider..
