Munoxy: Message of Hope
Chapter 1

The large man cracked his knuckles as he hovered over the cowering shopkeeper. His darker skin tone hinted at possible Hispanic ties. Piercings laced over his features, trying to keep his cool the shorter man raised hands defensively towards the large black suited man before him. “I-I don't know what you are talking about! I don't have one...honest.”

“Give it up, Mr. Roboastez. Everyone in this filthy town knows you own one of them.” The large suited man pulled down his shades from his eyes as he peered into the other mans shimmering orbs. He began to speak up again, but the purple-haired shopkeeper cut him off.

“Heh, you kinda look like Mr. Bubbles...”

“What?”

“Oh come on! You mean to tell me you don't watch the classics?! Ya know, like... Lilo and Stitch! Disney! I mean really...” Jeremy insisted that the buff man before him go watch cartoons that very second. Any kind of excuse to give him more time. That's all they needed, just a couple more seconds. That's when a flash of pink and black darted from behind the counter and out the front door, a jingle of a bell and split second of pitter patter of rain falling, and the Munoxy was gone.

“Your Munoxy maybe gone for now, but I'm afraid for meddling in government affairs I will have to take you into questioning Mr. Roboastez...” The larger man easily forced Jeremy onto his stomach and over the counter as the clinking of metal handcuffs rested like ice on his wrists. The shopkeeper fought tears as he watched the door slowly swing to a halt.

“Rebecca...” The other man muttered, hoping his dear Munoxy would be okay out in the storm. She was not meant for forest life... nor was any other Munoxy. They were man made creatures, born into a soft and comfy life... The wild would tear his beloved Munoxy apart! Jeremy struggled under the other man's grasp as he was hauled into the vehicle against his will, the now pouring water over them flattening his hair and allowing his tears to be hidden as he let them out. Seething with anguish and remorse, he swiftly removed himself from the offical's hands and fell into the mud as he tried to stand, as he was lifted back up he cried out. “Rebecca!!”

“Calm down you blubbering idiot, we best get it over with sooner then later.”

Jeremy looked across the street to see none other than Edna Flowers back against her store as she folded her arms in anger. He continued to stare like a deer caught in the headlights as she simply let some other government officials take her own Munoxy from her. Booka struggled to get free of their grasps as well, it was short lived as she was shoved in an almost too small cage. She continued to cry out. It was the only thing ringing in his head. But to him it wasn't Booka, it was Rebecca... he let her down. And now Edna was simply letting them take hers and without a fight!

“You heartless creature! Can't you see?! They can't do this to us! Booka doesn't want this! I don't want this! I know you sure as h**l don't want this either!” Jeremy cried out in anger as he was coaxed back into the vehicle once more, before they shut the doors on him he shouted “Edna! Say something!”

But she didn't say a word, not even goodbye to her Munoxy or to Jeremy. It wasn't until it was almost night and the rain had cleared that she shivered and slid down into the mud. “At least you still have a store to run... stupid idiot. I knew it would happen sooner or later. Booka was just an accident anways... with her goofy g-grin. And her... her fluffy tail. It's all that idiot's fault!” Edna covered her face with her arms as she sobbed silently. No, she was the strong one. She couldn't break down like this. It was all that one Munoxy's fault, if that Munoxy never came around she would still have Booka and Jeremy would still have Rebecca... she would never house them again. The government would only take them away anyways. She was hurt enough by them taking Booka, but what could she do? Fight and be taken into custody by them like Jeremy? Edna knew better, just to see her Munoxy, her Munoxy that she had since she was little... be ripped from her and fight back like that.

She made her way up a hill towards her home, a heavy sigh released as she reached the top and peered up at the starry sky. Reaching the door, she turned the knob and looked back at her store. “Don't worry Booka, it will all be over soon. We will see each other again... I hope.”

You like guys? I've had a story in mind for them for ages!!! But I wasn't sure when to post or how to start it off. Now that I finally started it, I dunno how often I will update this or how long the chapters will be, but I would love to get any feedback if you guys like it so far or not :3

What Munoxy is Edna talking about? And what will happen to Rebecca? What is going on with Munoxy? Why is the government taking them all away? All that and more in the next chapter!

Munoxy: Message of Hope
Chapter 2

The night sky shimmered brightly as the stars and full moon cried out to the darkness, striving to keep hope for a new day. A foreign sparkle lit the air as it shot like an arrow down into the wilderness on the outskirts from Del Nobia. It began to glow a vibrant blue, and from the ashes rose a familiar figure that was short, stocky and fluffy. It's unnaturally salmon pelt shone like true diamonds, and it's blue markings and gold piercings gave an alien feel. Two golden rings and a golden orb levitated from the end of its plume tail. Only one part was silver on its whole body, a single loose bracelet labeled “M#100753”. It wiggled its pink nose as it gazed across the field, a low howl hitting its ears as it bounded off towards the small nearby town.

A loud growl came from the distance as Jeremy sat an axe down and hauled some wood back towards his home. He spun around to face the growing noise. Rebecca, his small black and pink dyed foxy styled Munoxy cowered behind him. “What's up girl? Hold on a second...” he dropped the wood where he stood as whimpering of wolves emitted nearby, and a loud piercing shriek (that Jeremy knew all too familiar by now) resounded through the woods. He ran to the scene, with Rebecca not far behind to see the squished bodies of four wolves surrounding a single Munoxy with strange red glowing blue eyes and blue markings. “What the?!” Jeremy gasped and fell backwards.

Rebecca warily tip toed ahead of Jeremy towards the foreign appearing Munoxy. She touched noses with the larger Munoxy and they purred and squeaked. The shopkeeper blinked in wonderment. Those were some freaky looking markings, maybe it's just a new craze worked up at the salon? Jeremy tried to cover up anything out of the ordinary and made it an excuse to take the strange Munoxy in himself. If anyone knew anything about what to do with it, Edna would right? He would ask later in the week after the other Munoxy adapted to his home better.... maybe someone lost it?

“Mo Ti'kal? Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! How do you know how to write?!” Rebecca simply sniffed the dirt in their backyard that the other Munoxy etched with his levitating ball in the ground. He didn't even need to touch it, it just... moved on its own. And Jeremy found out the hard way that he was male, a black eye covered by an ice pack currently was all he had to show for it.

“So Mo, you don't mind if I cal ya that, right? Where are you from exactly? How did you get here?” Jeremy questioned as Rebecca attempted to play with the levitating ball on the end of his tail. Mo snarled and she hid behind Jeremy, the shopkeeper tapped him on the nose and he almost lost a finger for it. “Answer me! And be nice to Rebecca, she was only trying to play!”

Mo lashed his tail out vigorously as he calmed down a bit and closed his eyes and let out a low moan as the ball began to glow red and moved in the dirt again. The two words left were “Home” and “Crashed”

“That doesn't help us much...” Now Jeremy was beginning to wonder if the Munoxy's true owners had been nearly eaten by the wolves from a car crash and possibly dead from being lost in the woods. He needed to tell Edna about this. It was amazing! No Munoxy he ever knew could communicate with humans, much less write! Samuel and Sherry too! They would all be excited to see what he had discovered! Maybe he could become rich if he bred him with Rebecca or let Edna breed Booka with it for a hefty price... yes! He then noticed the silver band on the right foreleg and studied it. “M#100753? Is that a serial number? Maybe Edna or someone knows who you belong too and maybe we can find them for you...” Jeremy began to wonder where he really came from.

He put the strange Munoxy in a cage under the counter of the general store on the first floor as him and Rebecca headed upstairs and she laid at the foot of his bed, her usual spot. Jeremy tucked himself in after showering and brushing his teeth and getting a soft pair of black cotton boxers on. He left a single lamp on in the room with the fan going. He read a chapter or two of a book before yawning and drifting into slumber. Rebecca reaching up to clench her teeth over the switch for the lamp and shutting it off and immersing them in darkness.

The next morning, he was gone! Only the cage and front door seemed open, and Jeremy was relived that nothing had been stolen overnight. He would get that Munoxy and find out where it had went and how it had gotten out, if it was the last thing he did! “I don't know how he got out Rebecca, but I know he could not have gotten that far!” Rebecca squeaked loudly and chirped a giggle as her owner almost ran out the door in his undergarments. “Right! Clothes first! Maybe Edna has seen our little furry friend roaming the streets?” he sweat dropped before rushing back upstairs with Rebecca following closely behind him up the creaky stairwell.
