(lol, I didn't know a 'bump' could do so much damage XD)
Rusl's eyes widened as an eevee spontaniously ran into the persian. The hidden furret's heart raced even faster when a growing flame appeared in the vulpix's mouth, aimed at the eevee. Unfortunately, the eevee was standing right in between Rusl's hiding place and the attacking vulpix. Quickly, Rusl scurried up a nearby tree, the tip of his tail catching the slightest bit of lava. He huddled on the lowest branch and let out a whimper as he groomed his singed tail.real life hittin hard -- I'll be inactive for the time being

A piercing cry ripped through the forest, snagging Rancor's attention. He jerked himself from a daze-like state of concentration, his scarlet pupils scanning the area for the source of the scream. He wasn't sure if the cry had been a sound of aggression, fear, or pain -- he could only assume that the pokemon was preoccupied with whatever it was attacking. He was suddenly reminded of himself, and his own reckless ways -- but he shook the thought away.
One thing was for certain, though.
If Mogurew did not heal, soon, he would have to find either a trainer with potions or some berries before nightfall.

do but accept these inexplicable truths as my last source of comfort.
I wasn't dead. At least, I didn't think so. I don't remember how I got here, or why I came. I could possibly be dreaming, I suppose; that would explain the terribly strange occurrences that haunt every footstep taken in this place. The land itself is disorienting; the scents are dull and I'm beginning to forget things, like my name.

I hadn't lost it yet, the way I have already lost myself, and I can't seem to find a way home. Home. I need to go back, but somehow the task seems impossible. I don't even know which way to walk. I'm tired. And alone. And wet.

(( Haha, that happened to my cat the other day. He knocked down my jewelry stand and caused an explosion of stuff to fall. Nothing hit him, though. The poor guy leaped five feet in the air, ran into the wall, and then sprinted away. Lol. )
