Shade emerged out of his den after organizing his potions and herbs. He stretched, unaware that Kalous was on his way with Sesame.

"Sorry for this, but the faster we arrive the better." Shortly, they did arrive just as Shade was about to leave.

"What's wrong?" He asked as Kalous layed her down carefully.

Sesame slid off Kalous' back, her breathing heavy, and her head dizzy. She knew she was very ill, she just didnt know what with.

Kalous looked at her worriedly.

Shade studied her silently then turned to the male next to him. "Out." He said.

"What?!" Kalous growled.

"I said out." He said nonchalantly, while turning and picking some herbs.

"Why out?" He spat.

"Reasons. Healing reasons. Even if you were her mate you'd had to leave." Kalous growled. "Are you her mate?" Something in Shade's voice hinted amusement. Kalous's blood was boiling under that little secret.

"No, we're not mates!" Shade raised an eyebrow. Kalous growled annoyed before walking outside. "Fine," he murmured, but not without glancing back at her. "I'll kill you if something happens to her." He said darkly. Shade resisted the urge to laugh.

"Pretty protective over someone who's not your mate, huh? In love maybe?" He smirked.

"Shut up!" Kalous huffed from the outside. "I'm not!" Shade chuckled.

"Yeah right," Shade said once Kalous was out of ear-shot.

"You're not really that sick. It's just a little concussion because of what happened to you, you'll be fine with some rest. So, I'll leave you to it." He motioned for her to get comfortable. "The lovesick wolf outside was only causing you more stress. You won't rest enough if he's just sitting next to you worrying."
