Just visual arts. ^^; So we have:

although...
they make a nice contrast with Selcouth's bright litter.
I think they wouldn't be very unique if they were omg bright.

I personally don't see what a lot of people have against these dogs. Just because they're an ode to the arts doesn't mean that they have to be all "artsy" or filled with lineart edits or whatever. When I first saw them, I knew right away that the word "arts" meant more than the visual arts. The word arts is a very broad word and encompasses a very large amount of things. I didn't know exactly what arts to expect but I did know that there wouldn't be enough room in one litter to include every single arts out there. And honestly, if the design of the dogs had been "artsy", I would've been extremely disappointed in the litter because of the fact that it's supposed to be an ode to -all- of the arts, not just the visual arts like drawing, painting, digital, etc. I love how the litter has a common base design that can tie them together as a litter but each dog takes that base design and makes it very unique for the art it's supposed to represent. The fact that the colors are similar, but not the same, does the same thing, it ties them together as a litter but still makes each dog pleasingly unique. While I agree that I would like them better without the chest stripes, that's only because I feel like they don't fit in with the rest of the design, not because they're off-putting or ugly or anything. It's part of the base design that the artist came up with and, with each growth, I've grown rather fond of the design as a whole.

Anyways we have had a few people being unhappy about some of the horse adoptables looking like a specific horse. While there is nothing wrong in replicating a natural occuring pattern, I try to satisfy people with my adoptables in the best possible way. In no way did I intend to upset anyone so I made some little changes to make them look less like an rl exisitng horse. I hope they are more to everyone's liking now.
It might take a while for the changes to kick in.
