I poked the thing with my sword and it seemed to go in to the portal/black hole thing a little more. But then it started coming out so I backed off and watched. Nexus was sitting on on side of me panting harshly and a white lioness was sitting on the other side, watching. "Good question!"

vicky pulled me up and we ran for her house. the lioness was clawing at the monster to buy us time. we got into her attic

Nexus stayed at my side the whole time. I shifted and ran around it trying to buy Alice and Vicky more time to work. Nexus ran around in the other direction and I had to leap over her a couple of times.
