Finally time for an update.
I told both K and A that dating was a bad idea. I had told K once before, the last time they dated, that it was a bad idea. I proved my point once again today.
That note I wrote A? He read it. The next day, he didn't even say anything about it. Yesterday at lunch I learn that there's a secret between them. I asked him if he'd tell me and, despite the fact that nobody else knew, he told me without hesitation. Turns out, neither of them had listened and they were dating. They had been dating since the day before that, before A read the note.
Now today, four days after they started dating, they broke up. Again, they got in a big fight, and now they hate each other. I don't want to say I told them so... But I did. Twice. They didn't listen either time, and I was right both times.
Anyways, as I was sitting out in the field by myself for multiple reasons (crazy people xD) A ran up with R and joined me. Soon we had a few people out there, and A and I were talking about relationships. He said that K was always mad at him for not hanging out with her, and that she just assumed he wouldn't want to be around his friends and was exclusive to her. I said, "That's stupid. You're a guy, you have friends, end of story. If she expects you to give up your entire life for her, than she's expecting way too much." A's eyes went wide and he just said, "Exactly! Wow, you really understand guys." and then I went on to say, "Personally, I hate constantly being around a person, especially in a relationship. I like to spend a lot of time with the guy I'm dating, but he has his friends and I have mine and we don't need to be together every second of the day. I hate clingy people. It's because you're always around that person you're dating that you get into fights." after I said that, A like flipped out because we're so much alike (:3) and said, "Oh my God, me too! That's why a non-clingy person can't date a clingy person. Doesn't work out. We're both non-clingy people, and that's most likely one of the reasons we get along so well."
There's actually a lot about him and I that's alike. We're both terrified of clowns, we have pretty much the same friends, our favourite colours are almost the same (his is orange and mine is yellow), we both hate clingy people, we both hate certain fast-food places, we can literally finish each other's sentences... The thing that made my heart just melt today was the way he looked at me. It was like he had amnesia and was just having this big realization of his entire life!
And then he passed by my class and did that little head-bump thing. It's almost a nod but not quite, you know? When he did he smiled at me, which caused me to smile back. He was being so sweet to me today, I was almost certain that he was going to ask me out.
