Kaoru coughed up tons of blood, it covered his clothes, drenching him in crimson. He batted his wings, feeling numb all over, it was strange.

Luna turned away, she flew to a tree branch and sat on it. Words came to her head, she chanted them. A brigt light surrounded Kaoru.

Kaoru went completely numb, all his senses were dead, he quietly closed his eyes, his wings going limp.

The bright light vanished "Kaoru! No!" Luna yelled, she stood on the branch

Kaoru fell, his limp body billeting through the air, he crashed into the trees below, hitting the thick branches that ripped at his clothes, body and delicate wings. In his unconscious mind he was remembering how good it felt on his first flight, no words could describe it.
