Silt knew they had lost but wanted one victory in the battle. He saw Ashpool wounded and jumped on him, biting his neck hard and sending him close to death.

Ashpool yowled and knew he wouldn't make it.

Silt left Ashpool there to die as he ran off.

Ashpool lay in a puddle of his own blood, hanging on but barely. "Brok-Brokenpaw" he said weakly.

"Then stay away, or you'll get more of me!!" Sunpelt growled and stood his ground. He had his eyes in slits.

Flame walked over to Silt and picked him up by the scruff and stared to drag him back to their camp

Brokenpaw cried out. Vemonpool held her back and padded to Ashpool, getting to work.

Spottedpaw watched the battle. She couldn't do anything. Horror overcame her as she watched Ashpool die slowly

LeopardClaw ran to ashpool. He wondered if he could do anything.

Sunpelt watched her go and then walked into camp slowly,"they're gone!" His belly and neck was bleeding pretty badly. He looked around kept an eye on the entrance.

Rosepelt had a rabbit, a thrush, two mice, and a sparrow. She looked around astonished. She went and put the kill down.

"at least they have no herbs" she sighed and went off to look for herbs

"what do they want from us?" SpottedPaw asked. (she still needs a mentor BTW)

"is there anything I can do to help?" leopardclaw asked

Ashpool moaned, trying to hold on.

Dapplestar sighed and looked around for Sunpelt, hoping he was ok.

Venompool finished and sighed.

Brokenpaw stiffly crawled over to him and put her head gently under his paw. "Don't go!" she wailed.
