I gave up on trying to get people to like me.

My normal personality isn't exactly the friend maker. I'm quiet, rather anti-social, cold to people, sarcastic, and harsh. I do have a softer side as well, but people who I don't care about//like don't see it.

But I found something out.
When you show your true personality, you find people who are like you.
And they make the best friends.

A person in class wanted me to critique their writing. So you know, I get it in an email.

It's this short story thingy...and holy omg.
At her age, she's still mixing tenses up. Badly.
As in:
" He reached for the book and opens it."
ANDANDAND mixing up her person. I swear, every other paragraph she switches between 1st and 3rd person.
Not to mention run-ons, comma splices, grammatical errors, misspelled words, and things like it's, its, their, they're, there, too, and to getting mixed up.

HOW DO I RESPOND.

I hate when people do that. Out of all of my friends, I was always the Nazi... and I still am. :3
Perhaps... gently suggest that they read up on their grammar?

Well, at least you aren't the least popular girl in your school. I literally am. I've just pretty much given up on having a social life, really what most people talk about is so pathetic, I wouldn't want to be friends with most of the kids at my school, while they may get good grades a large majority of them seem to be complete idiots. I only have one friend at my school, I've had years where I've had no friends, it doesn't really matter anyways, it's not like you'll still know the friends you make in school when you're older... Also, I seem stupid when I talk, I just can't talk well, I can usually write well and analyze things quite well yet when I open my mouth I have trouble saying things intelligently, I don't have time to process what's been said to me and think up an intelligent answer, which usually results in me stuttering and laughing nervously.

I am freakishly defensive over my mugs.

I have a Cheshire Cat mug from Disney, a custom Spirited Away mug, and a Howl's Moving Castle mug that came from a friend.
I will cut your fingers off if you try to touch them.
