Gale's eyes widened. "If an eagle grabbed me I would be scared out of my mind if I couldn't fight it off." He commented. He wasn't the best fighter; he put all of his skill in hunting, usually bringing down large prey. But he could cope in a fight.
Blade: She shuddered at the thought of talons closing over her back. "Well, you're lucky. You'll still get bigger. I doubt I'm going to grow much more." She said to Gale and laughed. "Maybe I can just get fat so one couldn't pick me up!" She flicked Gale's nose with her tail.
"Well, they are pretty large, I'm not sure if that could work. What if the noise attracts a bear?" He dropped into a crouch, his large shoulders shifting as he stalked around. "I'm a viscous bear, coming to finish off what a stupid bird started!" He joked, lashing his tail playfully.
Blade: She laughed as well, and croched down. "Oh yeah? I'll show you, you big lump!" She gave a mock-growl and sprang at Gale, her eyes gleaming happily.
Gale was taken by surprise by her lunge and jumped, shaking her off. "I bet you would have been too scared if I really was a bear!" He laughed, purring.
Blade: She landed with a soft thump and rolled on her belly. "It depends if you were with me or not." She blinked, wishing she could swallow her words. "Er..." She mumbled, flicking an ear akwardly. She rolled back on her belly.
"Well, if I was with you when a bear approached, I'd be leading us as fast as I could downhill, then up a tree. It confuses them." He said, remembering the elder tale of a cat who outsmarted a bear.
