Zeus.
Trying to keep up his 'I still hate you' act, the cat lashed his tail at Fish Bones. "No! I'm just tired of telling you to get lost when you're obviously to deaf or stupid to understand. I have better things to do." He spat, flicking his tail in what seemed to be irritation. Rolling his eyes, he turned to Squirell, smiling only slightly. "I'm sure he will. And that would be so wonderful. I'd be...er....um, honored to come visit your uh, brother and his family. Now...uh, who's this Tux, fellow?" He said as politely as possible. He now realized Klim was her brother, and he was trying to piece everything together. "Now you didn't answer me. Are you hurt? Do you have any wounds?" He asked again.

Squirrel looked at herself, or, at least, her back and paws. "I'm fine." she said quickly, then sat down abruptly. "Tux was one of my friends back at home. One of me and Klim's friends. He was the only boy in Missy's litter and all the cats in Missy's litter played with me and Klim 'cause we all lived in the barn together. But me and Tux were especially close. Close like Klim and Sparkle were. Missy gave all her kittens funny names like that..." Squirrel trailed off again, remebering times back at the barn where she was raised.

Zeus.
He glanced at her. She said she was fine, and she seemed fine as well. So he didn't say anything more. He simply sat down next to her and listened quietly, nodding his head as she spoke. "Tux and Sparkle are odd names. But then again, I'm sure to them, Klim and Squirel were." He smiled at her. A small part of him envied her life, her childhood. He'd never had that. Nooo....his mother had dumped him and his siblings in a gutter to survive on their own. And Zeus had been the only one to survive, or atleast so he thought. The thought of his mother made his skin hot, and he constrained a growl. He hated her. He loathed her. And if he ever saw her face again he would make sure to tear it to shreds. Shaking himself, he again listened to Squirell, trying to put his own not so nice memories out of his head.

Squirrel looked amused at the thought that Tux and Sparkle might have found her and Klim's names weird. "I don't think they'd fine Squirrel weird. Everyone knows what a squirrel is, squirrel is a normal word. But Tux and Sparkle are human words, aren't they? Isn't it weird to name your kits after human things?" As an afterthought, she added, "But Klim's name is kinda weird, though." Squirrel lookled down at Zeus for a second, "You okay?" she meowed, seeing that he was a bit agitated.

Zeus.
He nodded. "You're right, probably not Squirell. But Klim, yes. I don't know, really, about how mothers should name their kits." He shrugged, glancing away. The reason he didn't know what name a mother should give her kits was because he'd never been given a name himself. He chose Zeus as a name for himself. He had no idea what it meant, but he'd heard it before, twice. Once by a human, the other time by an old house cat. So he simply decided he'd call himself Zeus, as he liked the sound of it. He looked back at her when she asked if he was alright. Shrugging his shoulders, he answered evadingly. "Oh fine, fine." No one had to know about his mother, no one at all. She didn't deserve to be known about, anyways. What she deserved was to die in a big black hole, all alone. With no one there for her. Yes, Zeus did very well hate his mother that much.

Squirrel looked closely at Zeus. He didn't seem to be okay. Actually, he seemed rather angry. Maybe it was at her, Squirrel thought, wondering what on earth she had done wrong this time. She hadn't said anything mean...maybe he just didn't like names? But why wouldn't someone like names? Squirrel pondered that for a moment. Maybe he didn't have a name...but who didn't have a name? "Did I say something wrong?" she asked nervously.

Zeus.
He blinked, watching her closely. He smiled lightly, shaking his head when she asked nervously if she'd said something. "No no, it's not you, it's not about the present. Don't worry about it." He said simply, pushing thoughts of his mother away. He didn't want to upset the she-cat named Squirell. Blinking, he glanced around. "I'm hungry, I'm going to grab something from the dumpster. Would you like anything?" He asked her, abruptly changing the subject. He was eyeing the large green dumpster, the tantalizing scents of human food wafting away from it and drifting over to them. He was hungry, and all this pointless fighting and talking had made him so. He wasn't a cate of many words, and he found he'd said too many in this one day already. He'd have to get used to this being nice and talking sorta stuff.

"Oh, okay." Squirrel said, still curious as to why he seemed so agitated. But the thought of food completely changed the direction of her thoughts. "I'll come with you." she meowed, standing up and raising her tail. She was starved, the tiny piece of food she managed to steal from the dumpster before had hardly filled her. Thirst, too, was a problem of hers at this time. Luckily, a discarded cup was occasionally filled with the sweet, sometimes fizzy liquid humans called 'soda'. Though it was very good, it usually made Squirrel's stomach hurt afterwards for a little while.

Zeus.
He just glanced back at her, giving a slight nod. Leaping up onto his boxes, he was able then to leap up to the top of the dumpster, landing precariuosly at the edge. Finding his footing, he glanced down inside, looking for something tasty. His nose working overtime, it was twitching, his whiskers trembling. Finally, he spotted a chicken sandwhich, it's delicious scent drifting up towards him. Licking his lips, he grinned, and walking off the edge, dropped neatly into the trash pile. Grabbing the half eaten sandwhich in his jaws, he clawed his way back out and on top again, where he swiftly dragged the food over to one of the stacked boxes to eat. "Yum." Was all he muttered, to no one in particular, as he gulped down his meal. He always ate fast, that way a human or dog or another cat would come try to take it away, or bother him. He didn't care abut savoring it. If he ate slow, he might end up with an empty stomach, watching some dirtbag take off with his meal.

Quicksilver slinked around in the shadows, her pelt fluffed up against the cold night air. Her belly was rumbling, and she hadn't eaten since the morning. Catching the scent of food, she crept around a dumpster, finding two cats feasting there. It's worth a shot... The small she-kit thought after a moment's hesitiation, creeping closer to them with her blue eyes wide. "Hello....?" She called, half of her body still in the shadows.
