Aipom made an attempt to dodge, but was still scratched by the Torchic - but it also just about managed to Scratch back, although it didn't do much damage. Squeaking in pain for a moment, the Aipom used Astonish.

"Dodge it as best as you can, Flare!" Aaron told him as the Aipom attacked. Flare tried to dodge the astonish attack and jumped a little back being hit a bit. He winced and shook his head "Tor...Torch tochic!"
"Use scratch now!" Aaron called out and watched as Flare leaped back into action and tried delivering a steady and speedy scratch attack.

Aaron looked at the almost fainted pokemon and then to Flare. He asked Flare "Would you like to see if Aipom will come with us? Or not?" He decided it would be nicer to let Flare choose, since he did most of the work. Flare looked between him and the Aipom and jumped up happily "Torch! Tor Tor Torchic!" Aaron knew obviously that Flare would enjoy the company of the Aipom and took a pokeball from his belt. He threw it skillfully at the Aipom and waited. Flare stood there hopefully, looking at the pokeball move.

A sly grin graced Vukasin's lips once he saw the Combee being weak enough to capture. Heck, it couldn't even produce a good Gust attack. His grip on the Pokeball he was holding tightened before it eventually loosened once he threw the Pokeball at the Combee, praying that the Pokeball won't dissapoint him.

Remilia smiled as she took the Pokeball from the ground and threw it up in the air, letting the tAillow come out. Once the little navy bird materialized completery, she pet his head gently. "Now, we need to name you... How does Ace sound to you? It's quite a magnificent name..." she mused while petting the Taillow.

Sassy, spirited, reluctant, loyal, sarcastic, Can be short sighted, standoffish, overly protective, tolerant.

General personality:
There are characters who live hard lives and pretend to be emotionally stable, or refuse to admit they’re secretly angst buckets, or just don’t realize they’re effed right up. And then there are the characters who live hard lives and actually are healthy. Yuna Fair belongs to the latter.

She was essentially a bright star before a certain incident, the kind of person you’d want to get to know and have on your side. Growing up, she was charismatic, friendly, intelligent, and very upbeat, maintaining a steady outlook on the future despite her grim circumstances. Dedicated to family and duty, she was nevertheless a fun-loving, playful person who tried her best to never take her privileges for granted. Although it appears she was lonely for a companion, Yuna made do with a lack of female company, focusing on becoming a self-sufficient and hard-working member of the household so that people around her wouldn't see her as a burden.

This is the kind of woman Yuna has grown to be: she doesn’t sugar-coat the cruel realities of the world for herself, even when she’s kind enough to do so for other people.

However, Yuna was not a saint--she is human, and she has flaws and moments of weakness like everyone else. Sometimes she can be short-sighted, sometimes she can be jealous, and sometimes she can be selfish, irritated, and petty. And the truth is, Yuna has her flaws, as she would readily admit.

However, it can be argued that Yuna’s biggest and most devastating flaw was actually her drive to protect the things important to her, what she viewed as treasures.

Her loyalty, her protectiveness, her combat readiness, her practicality--those all showed a different face when Yuna is pushed too hard. As is the case for most people, what anchored Yuna was her sense of identity, and her important people or Pokemon. When those things, especially the latter, are threatened, her emotions became her guiding force. Overall, Yuna is highly protective, to the point that she would do anything to keep her loved ones safe, and would stop at nothing to avenge them if they were hurt; in a way, Yuna developed her abilities to protect her treasures.

General personality:
Axel is cocky, cynical, somewhat lazy and rather friendly. Despite his appearance and attitude, Axel is regarded to be a prominent worker; He takes his job with pride and obtains skills that allow him to surpass many of his fellow members. He also has a rebellious temperament and his actions can be sadistic, which can be contradictory to his laid back personality.

But there is a dark side to his personality that show during battles or facing trainers. Axel will become mysterious, stoic, and calm in his demeanor. A very good liar, he makes a point of keeping himself difficult to read, coming off as fooling around when really his mind is at work manipulating the other members around him.

He's quite antagonistic, and sees no problem with mocking the plans of his fellow members, bosses or even strangers. When introducing himself he often says"My show now, Little Trainer! Who am I? Oh, my name's Axel. Got it memorized?" He's not at all above lying to someone to gain their trust, then stabbing them in the back as soon as they look away.

Although he's certainly arrogant, he's careful not to let people know more than he wants them to. A schemer and a liar he may be, but he's also prone to moments of seemingly careless introspection. When it comes to friends, or family things become a bit more complicated. Once you break his hard shell and become his friend, your a friend for life or he'll stalk you to the end of the earth if you try to leave him behind.

Likes:
Annoying other trainers and his fellow team rocket members, playing the piano, his "certain" some one, the colors purple and green, and his Pokemon.

Dislikes:
When things fall apart, his few friends trying to leave him, his boss, the color yellow and orange, water Pokemon, idiots, sweet food, babies, children, pink, idiots, overly bright people, traitors, people who hurt children and did I mention idiots?

Lucy walked the path of Route One as Jagger speedily moved around his trainer, though never stayed too far. A wild Spearow flew through the air above her as she went along, as it probably just came from a tree. "Hey Jagger," Lucy verbally nudged him, "Are you up for it?" Being the high-spirited Pokemon that he is, he was all up for it.

Spearow was a feisty bird Pokemon and Lucy could respect that. Probably some good fighting spirit close to her Totodile. "Get it's attention with a Water Gun." Jagger complied, and attempted to gushed water at the moving target.

The Spearow squeaked in surprise, spiraling downwards before it regained its balance. It was ready for battle, and instantly went in for a Peck attack on the Totodile.

""Just follow the road" she says...."It's easier" she swears, "only real trainers use the dirt road".....YEAH RIGHT!"Yuna was not having a good day. Sure she got her Pokemon panther, a fire type that she named, "Itachi" who at that moment was trotting as fast as his little legs could carry him trying as best as he could to keep up with his, at the moment, short tempered trainer. It seem that the road would go on forever till the end of the world! Ok she was making that up but she was tired, she just got off a boat ride to get here, covered in dirt from falling over a hidden tree root, and most Pokemon seem to flee at the sight of her when she wanted to add more Pokemon to her team before she reached the first town.

............Yeah, so not her day.
