I raised my hand for silence and I motioned for Ookami to go forth. I smiled and ordered to do an attack, which was dodged and countered by an attack from the Poochyena.

Rose kept quiet and watched the battle in awe. "wow" she whispered smiling.

As soon as Luna got her pokemon healthy again, she went back to meet Dove. "Okay, I'm all set! Let's go to the Gym now."

Suddenly, Sam saw something move. There was a zig-zag pattern rustling through the bushes, shrubs, and overgrowth. Finally, the Pokemon came out.



Sam and Toto were both equally surprised. Then, Sam took out her Pokedex, which told her about the Pokemon. The entry was;

#263 Zigzagoon
Evolves into;

Attacks;
Covet
Pin Missile
Tackle
Cut

The PokeDex then told about the behavior, attitude, and nature of the Pokemon. "Awesome!" Samantha squealed. "Alright, Toto. Use Tackle." The Totodile nodded and quickly ran at the Zigzagoon, catching it off guard. It hit, sending the Zigzagoon back. "Alright, Bite while it's vulnerable!" Samantha continued to command.

Toto lunged at the raccoon-like Pokemon, biting it's shoulder. It sent the Pokemon yowling, as it used Pin Missile. It hit exactly all five times. This Pokemon is strong, thought the trainer confidently.

"Scratch!" Toto, after getting hit, got back up. He had bruises all over. He ran quickly, and jumped, scratching the Zigzagoon squarely on the head. The Zigzagoon yelped and tried to use Cut on Toto, who countered with Scratch. Scratch overruled and hit the Zigzagoon, making it feel hazy and making it feel like it couldn't stand.

"Go, Pokeball!" Sam squeaked, throwing the sphere at the Zigzagoon. The Pokemon was sucked in, and wobbled slowly and carefully. Sam and Toto awaited hopefully.

(Um.... Dovie-Chan gets to choose if you catch that pokemon or not...

Sabrina healed her Pokemon at the center, then left the city and wandered into the wild grass. Best to have a backup Pokemon for the gym battle.
