Recent Rarity Change List [January Update in progress!!]

New rarities assigned to pets who don't have them are often posted here and quite helpful actually. Please don't mini-mod on the thread, especially for a rule that doesn't exist.

Not sure if this was a rare before but it is now, I looked back a few pages and it wasn't mentioned so..

That horse just got it's rarity

Yay! I have a hoard of about five of these. I did have seven, but gifted two to friends so I'm not really that bothered.
Surprised that this guy is rare too:

It's not the mods. It's the server automatically updating rarities according to the pet-per-user ratio.

Here's some more insight about this;

Right now the rarities are:
OMG so rare! (less than 1 pet per 1000 users)
Very rare (less than 1 pet per 80 users)
Rare (less than 1 pet per 25 users)
Uncommon (less than 1 pet per 5.5 users)
Common (less than 1 pet per 3 users)
Very common (more than 1 pet per 3 users)

I'm actually rather surprised that we already have 2 rares and it's not even easter yet. Which correct me if I'm wrong, is when we got our first rares last year?

I believe the January GPPS was rare, as was the Saint Patrick's Day Tess Dragon last year, prior to Easter. ^_^ I believe there was also a PPS pony that was rare in February. xD Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't start playing until then.

I'm very disappointed by this. Considering people bought like crazy, I thought they'd be rare (if not even uncommon xD) for sure.

So basically, this is rather random. ^^

Though the artists/mods do influence the process through making certain outcomes rarer than others.

Oh, the GPPS is always rare, I did forget about that one! And St.Patty's day I missed last year, so that slipped my mind as well. xD;
Then I suppose we have 3 rares this year already, one for each month.
Next year we are sure to have more for Easter, which I'm excited for to start!
