((Lol cuz I can))
Ayaan
Ayaan's soft fur flicked in the gentle breeze, making it slightly puffy from the previous bath he had taken. His ears flicked right and left, carefully surveying the area around him and Zaria. The tempature soothed his frenzied nerves along with Zarias gentle tone. As his hoove gently pinned the tall blades of grass to the slightly damp ground as he slowed his gaint, nearing Zaria and this foal. He strayed a bit from Lacy and Zariaand they talked, and studied his surroundings. He looked at the clouds, the ground and all the little bugs that scurried across the grass. He followed a bright blue and green catipilar to a small cacoon and out of the blue, a large monarch butterfly split out of the enclosed casing and stretched its wings, gently floating onto Ayaan's nose, causing him to sneeze. He jumped as a bush rattled, sticks popped and leaves crunched. His instinct was to flee but against his better judgment he poked his nose inside the bush, to come face to face with a cougar. His frantic whinnie could be heard across the land, he bolted the cougar hot on his heels. He quickly thought about Zaria and Lacy, he couldn't lead it to them. So he made a sharp turn, heading towards the stallion they had been aquatinted with earlier.
"Help me!" He brayed, out of breath as the cougar prepared to pounce.

((Ehh, needed a bit of excitement. And since Skyionic was looking for trouble, here it is! I totally spelled his name wrong.3,3 oh and sorry for spelling errors, tiny IPod keyboard.))

.:Skyrionic:.
Skyrionic's head shot up as he hear Ayaan. He alsmot asked what was wrong, but he saw it; A couger. He snorted and pined his ears back and charged forward. Skyrionic swerved so that He came up on the side (and slitly infront) of the couger, almost body slaming it as He halted. He reared before he landed and lifted his mane so it stood upright, making him appear larger. His tail lashed as he stood Between Ayaan and The couger.

((Sorry Halo... But Bandit will not stand by when others are in danger. O.o))

Bandit
Bandit glanced wildly between the stallion and the mare, ears upright and mane standing straight along the line of her dark-brindled spine. Her troubled rose-hued gaze watched Halo looking around frantically, like he expected there to be more Equids around. What was the matter with that? she thought, a little confused, getting sidetracked for the moment. Just as everyone was leaving, she was becoming more comfortable with the area. Too much of a crowd bothered her... But perhaps the lack of the crowd was what was putting Halo even more on edge. The rising hysteria in Halo's normally good-natured voice only spurred on her own.

When Equid voices drifting on the wind caught her attention, she snapped her head around, ears pricked with a glance towards Halo's reassuring gaze. "Is that them?" she murmured softly, hardly daring to hope.

She shied as a frantic whinny from near the river sliced through the air, reaching her ears fast as a bullet. "Help me!" It was the voice of a foal. A small silvery fellow, with the tawny streak of a cougar in hot pursuit. "Halo!" Bandit whinnied, spotting only one other Equid near the chase, a stallion, began to bolt forward, her legs whirring into motion. "I need to help him!" She shouted, but her voice was lost on the wind. Adrenaline boiled in her veins as she streaked down the hilltop and towards them, knowing a predator as threatening as a cougar could kill someone, even if there were more than one Equid to fight it. The more the merrier, she thought grimly. Skidding to a stop next to the stallion, she bared her teeth at the bristling feline, her mane standing up on end. "Ever fought one of these before?" she growled in an undertone to him. If he was new to this, the outcome of the fight would be even worse.

FAYETTE

Despite the beautiful day and the uplifiting mood, Fayette had troubles coming across the herd. The scent of other equids was so vague and faint that is wasn't once that she found a misleading track. She had just happened to reach the lake when she saw and spotted another equid. From where she was standing, brown, orange and white streaks were only visible to her. Yet this was surely the equid herd that she spent months looking for. Though she realized that the this was the only individual around, this didn't prevent her from cantering roughly through the forest. Her high-pitched whinny ringing loudly as she moved at a fast pace. Someone should spot me this time! she thought. But it was as if bad luck had been assigned to this day because just as she reached her destination, the equid disappeared from view. This urged her to put her power into a gallop.

((Haha, we had like an F-4 or 5 on last day of school a few years back))

Ayaan
Ayaan snorted and pawed at the ground in a rough attempt to catch his breath. He stayed behind the two adults and almost fell to the ground, his knees slightly buckled under him. He panted and gradually backed further behind the two equids.
"Thank you." Ayaan called out abouve the flying hooves and cat screams.

Livius nodded, feeling a surge of sympathy for the little silvery-blue foal. When he had first gone off on his own way, he had learned the hard lesson that while living in the mountains, higher up, was proactive as far as solitude was concerned, it was not that beneficial for keeping weight on. The plants up there had been scraggly, wind-blown grasses and that was all he had eaten until he had finally discovered the concept that better plant-life grew near water. Only then had he put muscle on his young-adult skeleton.
"Clover is especially delicious. You'll have to eat a lot of the wild grass though, especially the seeds. It'll help you stay healthy," he explained, stifling laughter at how the colt was now cavorting around him where he stood like a spring lamb. Little ones. You can never slow them down. Not too far off, down the river, he heard a shrieking cry for help and went rigid, eyes staring off in that direction. Surely Canad had heard it?! That was a foal in trouble!!!
"Canad! Canad, sir!!! Did you hear? A foal cried for help down-river!" He sincerely hoped that the lead stallion would make a decision soon, or else he might break the rules and go off of his own accord to aid the little one.

FAYETTE

Fayette's harks fluttered quickly to the sound of the cougar; a pitiful whinny could be heard following it. Her harsh gallop had came to a sudden halt where she stopped to see the familair streaks of orange and white form to create a distant-looking stallion. Fayette was never impressed by gallantry presented in fighting however the sudden and blind act to protect someone had deeply inflicted a sort of inner pride. Her sudden halt had rooted her to her current position and she stood like a marble statue, gazing with wide eyes at what was yet to come. Though she was hidden from view, she remained to shake with fear and dread. She didn't seem to realize that she stood from the rear side of the stallion and therefore only caught glimpses of how everything took place.

The trance lasted for practically a couple of seconds before she noted down the arrival of an sun-burnt mare who came to the protection of the foal. The young mare felt embarrased and ashamed that she couldn't move from the spot of where she stood. The phobia to cougars yet ceased to exist and this had physically stopped her from moving any further to the foal. But Fayette wasn't prepared to let shame take hold of her and with a modest, patient pace she walked towards the equids.

Fayette came like a sudden fog from behind the stallion, her tail placidly moving behind her and her head slightly lowered. Her voice sounded hesitant and quiet as if asking a huge favour.
'Is there any way I can help?'

-Canad-

Canad's ears pricked in question when he heard a foal whinny for help. "Yes! Livius! Thank you, now come with me!" he said, up and galloping from a dozed stance. He didn't even look back to check his herd. He heard a foal in trouble, his herd senses shut off and his saving senses turned on. He had once saved a young cougar from a bear, most equids would not do this, but he had the bravery and he felt that the cougar was a life worth saving. He saw the foal, the most likely victim of the cougar. It was an all silver foal with no brindling, a quite gorgeous foal if not. He saw a few other equids surrounding, but he ignored them. He didn't even take note of who they were. He rushed to the foal, and nuzzled it's soft but ribby side. "Where did the cougar go? Did anyone else get hurt?"
