Blah, I guess when I've got some lizard experience under my belt I'll just go for the monitor then. It's okay, I like them better anyway

Sorry to hear that Primrose12. From your posts it sounded like he's been sick for a little while. Do you have a vet nearby to do a necropsy to find out the cause?

I can't think of any pet store that outmatches the quality from a breeder when it comes to reptiles. :S
Make sure you sanitize everything before you bring in a new pet. Whatever this one had could be contagious. I would try to make sure everything was set up and ready and sound for the new beardie before you bring the next one home.

Anoles aren't really fat in the first place, but just buy waxworks, superworms or give it a ton of mealworms. You can also give it vitamins, that could help too

all of those but the mealworms are like treats and shouldn't be fed as everyday meals
