Lilly|Red eyed tree frog

Lilly's costume is based on red and green. She's wearing a knee length dress, the skirt, red and rather swishy, and the top half, a green lowcut v-neck. Her hair sets off the contrast boldly. Her makeup is light, but bright. Her eyes are outlined in red, and green eyeshadow. Her hair is straightened. Her token is on her neck. Her shoes are green ballet flats.

Jake|Wolf

Jake is wearing almost a gladiator style of clothing. He's wearing silver top half of armor, and those funky leather skirtish thingies. He has a cape of fake Wolf's pelt that goes over his head native American style. He is wearing gladiator shoes, and no helmet. His token is strung around his neck.

(Okie dokie, I'm back from my weekend at my grammies...saw The Hunger Games and it was epic! I take it we started or something, so I'll post my characters costume for the parade..did I miss anything important?)

Shaun Dyran :: Crocodile

Costume

Set of white pointy teeth tattooed from the side of his cheekbones to his lips.Upper part of face painted with dirty green with a rough texture.Arms painted a faded brownish-green murky color which blend with the scales on his hands below the elbow.His whole back with its mutated croc spikes and scales left exposed.Belly painted a dirty white.A pair of scratched khaki shorts and khaki boots.The front part of his boots have five holes from which his claws come out.

Zorath|District 9|Golden eagle

After arriving at the train station zorath had been taken into a carrige with lots of scientific equipment. he had guessed they did this to every tribute, so they could set up trakers and such but didnt expect this much equipment. anyway, he was put to sleep and awoke in a different carridge with moonlight shining through the window. wow i must have been out the whole day. he thought. then he felt the soreness he had on his back so he sat upright. then his wings unfurled. at first he jumped at the sight of them then he examined them. eagle feathers... he thought remembering seeing one bird with feathers of this beauty before. he wandered towards the mirror and looked at his wings and then his claws. ''so that wasnt normal procedure...'' he said to himself. he spent the rest of the day enjoying the fine food and eventualy met his mentor who had already been briefed on this twist.now it was time for the parade. his stylist had made sure to make him look as threatening as possible because of his attitude and had designed the costume on a warrior. now he was ready for the off stood in his chariot.

Zom'grul|district 6| king cobra

Zom'grul had awoken on the train to the capitol feeling dry. his skin felt more...rigid than before. he looked at it and freaked out. his skin had become a black sea of scales that now enveloped his body. then he looked in the mirror and spotted the fangs. hanging like that of a sabre tooth cat, the looked terrifying. finally his tail swished into view to complete the look. ''i must be some sort of snake...'' he said to himself looking at the scales he had developed. he had only read about snakes and now he was one! he decided it was best to carry on as normal and enjoy the high life of a capitol citisen and eat all their food. his mentor was certainly intreuged by his look but shrugged it off and began as usual explaining sponsors and whatnot. when his stlist had appeared he was mesmorised by the costume she had made for him. it looked so smart and posh but still fit his snake theme. wearing it now was even better as it was as confortable as it was smart. now standing in his chariot Zom'grul wondered what the audience would think of these 'beasts'.

Age: "Old enough to kill another child, apparently. I'm fifteen."

Animal DNA: "As far as I can tell, I'm part mountain lion. I'm not entirely sure, though."
Personality: "People have told me I'm smart, but I don't know how they can say that, considering the fact that I pretty much dye cloth for a living. It's sort of a no brainer, really. I did do well in school, though... Whatever. I'm not particularly brave, in my opinion. I'm more a flight than fight kind of guy, you know what I mean? One attribute I have that will probably help me in the games is that I'm extremely distrusting of people. I don't know why - I just expect the worst of people. I've also been called 'sly'. Does that mean I'm manipulative? Possibly. Does that mean I'm good at getting what I want? Sometimes."

Christopher is unremarkable - he has dark brown hair, a tan complexion, and hazel eyes. He's not very tall - only around 5'10, and he's quite skinny. He has a straight nose and fairly high cheekbones, and looks older than he is. He usually wears his hair long, but he cut it for the games. Now it reaches to just above his eyebrows.
Animal features:
"Thanks to those Capitol jerks, I look like a freak. I mean, I'm not saying I had the nicest teeth before the games, but I don't really like how the injection made them sharp. They don't stick out of my mouth or anything, but I have a really creepy smile now. And my eyes used to be darker hazel, but now they're almost gold in color. I also have awesome night vision. My fingernails are more like claws now, an my fingers look sort of misshapen, but they're stronger than before. Good for climbing. Also, weirdly enough, I have a tail. I'm not talking one of those small, wimpy things either - like a full blown mountain lion tail. It's crazy. I'd imagine, since I'm part big cat, that I'd be better at climbing trees, faster, and stronger. I guess I'll see when we start training, eh? I also have the weirdest craving for uncooked venison."
History:
"My childhood was normal enough. My parents were loving, my older siblings tortured me sometimes and protected me at other times. My mom and dad were rebels. They remembered how life had been before the games, and at every oppurtunity, they tried to get it back. -bitter laugh- They were irresponsible. My older siblings brought home the food while my parents organized unsuccessful revolts. About a year after Clara was born - when I was about eight - they didn't come home. We found out that they had been publicly executed by the peacekeepers for rebellion. After that, I had to find a way to help support the family. I learned to hunt - I basically just shot birds from my roof and had my sister retrieve them. Crude, yes, but food was food. This year, when I finally got picked for the Games, my name was in the bowl about thirty eight times. I was the only one who was old enough to apply for tesserae, but my other two siblings were too old. So here I am."
Family:
"My family is pretty big. My parents are both dead, but I have four siblings. Two older - Jen and Micah - and two younger: Alex and Clara. Clara gave me the token thing. I think they all know I won't be coming back, but that's okay. Jen and Micah have jobs, and Alex knows how to hunt. Clara will be fine - they'll take care of her."

"It's stupid - something my little sister gave me. It's a little silver district eight symbol - a cloth and thread - and it's on a sort of cloth strip. I tied it around my neck."

"A bow and arrow would be great - throwing knives also couldn't hurt. And - this sounds crazy - but I know how to kill someone with scissors. And, of course, I'd love a canteen for water. I'm sure I can find my own food. An orange bag sounds useful.

Shaun Dyran :: Crocodile

For the first few minutes,after he woke up,Shaun could not,to his utter annoyance,place where he was.Well,he had already figured out he was in a train,but he had forgotten where he was heading.Then,as he stretched yawning,an odd tingly feeling on his back brought back all the events of the past.Oh yes,he thought miserably.How can I forget that I am a either gonna go home in a coffin or as a cold-blooded murder?And the fact that I will always be part crocodile?How can I forget? He sighed,passing a hand through his curly black hair.
Looking around he spotted a full-sized mirror against a wall.He stared at it, concentrating on the frame,not daring to look at his reflection.The mirror stared back at him,as if mocking him.No this has got to stop,he thought taking a deep breath.Accept what you are,for there is no going back.Warily he approached the mirror and stared at his reflection.
His big round grey eyes with dark circles under them,stared back at him.His angular jaw was set tight,his wild curly hair covering most of his forehead.Overall he was impressed that his face did not betray his panic.His eyes gazed down his reflection.He stared at hsi scaly hands with horror and at the claws that grew instead of his fingernails.He stared down at his feet and was met with the same sight.Quickly,before he could panic out,he turned around and peeked at the mirror over his shoulder.Thick dark grey scales and sharp spikes ran down from his neck to his waist.Then turning front once again he barred his teeth like a wild beast.Glinting rows of sharp teeth met his eyes.
He stood there,grinning like an idiot at his reflection,his hands hanging dimply by his side.Hmmm,maybe its not that bad,he thought approving the mutations on his body.
Then shaking away the thought he changed into a pair of grey t-shirt and black jeans which had been neatly folded by his bedside table.Then he hurried out of the room,making his way to the dining room.
