Cerise nodded and looked away from both of them. She knew she was getting a glare from her uncle.

Chance frowned slightly and didnt reply been as she wasnt facing him. He shot her uncle a warning glare, his piercing blue eyes threatening and kind of scary looking

Cerise squeezed his hand. "He wont back down." She started to gather her stuff.

Chance frowned "your going back out there to him? even though he hurts you?" he said as he watched her curiously

Cerise bit her lip and nodded. She saw him in the corner of her eye. She whispered, "I have no where else to go and he has guardianship over me."

Chance growled quietly and shook his head "wait here" he muttered quietly, He readjusted his hat on his head and then went outside, heading over to her uncle. When he reached the man he glared deeply "hey, i have a bone to pick with you, What the hell gives you the right to pick on her, HUH!" he literally snarled, his hands clenched into fists

Cerise saw what he was doing. She went out after him and grabbed his hand. "Chance..." she shook her head. Her uncle glared at him. "She is but property since her parents died."

Chance flinched slightly as she grabbed his hand "ow..." he mumbled as he backed up "i was trying to help you" he said softly

Cerise flinched at being called property, holding Chance's hand. "You'll make it worse." the uncle grabbed Cerise's arm.
