I might be interested in becoming a Proctor, though what are the requirements? And what do you all have to do?

@Razzle; - My apologies, I forgot to notify you. A few days ago Kizzy (kizzy42) became a proctor, and I assigned you, PetCrazy and Bangarang. to her, since you three have been on the waiting list the longest. :3 This was only two days ago, so the class thread is still in the making, but it should be done in a couple of days. :3

@Trump, if you'd like, I can see that you get a 1x1 Proctor, it would shorten the wait.

What Does a Proctor Do;

A proctor's job is to basically guide his or her students through the course at the RP school, which means that you will be checking up on grammar, post length, fluidity, and so on (this will be described in more detail as we delve into each level).

You are required to examine each student's post line to line, so that they may better understand what it is you're trying to teach them. If there is nothing wrong with a line though, don't examine it; - You don't want to go around making problems where they don't belong.

Another very important thing for a proctor to do is make sure that there are no fights, and that OOC (Out of Character, though hopefully you know that) talk is kept to a minimum. The RP school does not just prepare it's students for RPing on CS (which is mostly very amateur stuff), but rather for actual RP sites. If you have ever RPed on one of these sites, (and I hope you have.) you will understand what I mean when I say there is practically no OOC talk within an RP thread. In fact, it is very rare to see any at all, as people will usually communicate via pms or chat.

Something else to look out for is the order. As said above, the RP school prepares its students for RPing outside CS too. In set RP sites, order is extremely important, and if you post out of turn you will not only tick loads of people off, but there's a high probability you will get yelled at. So, stick to Student One, Student Two, Student Three, Proctor. Student One, Student Two, Student Three, Proctor.

If your students stop posting, you should prompt them, asking if they would like to continue. If a student doesn't answer within two days, they are assumed to have quit, and the class will continue without him/her. If only two students want to continue, proceed the rp with only them. If only one student wants to continue, the student will be assigned to one of our 1x1 proctors and they'll continue the class via PM. The proctor who remained student-less will be assigned a new class.

That would basically be it, but there's plenty more information in the Proctor Handbook.

There is currently 17 students on the waiting list, so if any of the proctors would like to take on a second class please notify me. :3

Oh. Thats a toughie. Probably about 3 years. I first joined Foopets and was introduced. I was immediately drawn into the life.
Favorite type of RP:
I'll do most any rp. Except for hard core all about romance ones, dogs, and wolf packs.

I don't mean to be a bother, but even though I know who my proctor is and all, our class hasn't been made yet and it's been around a month. I can't even find my proctor's profile. Could someone else me please?

(Hey, bryght, maybe in the 'classes' section, you could add a waiting list so that the poeple who have been waiting longest may get a class without the trouble of having to be extremely active.

Anyway, I would be happy to make a second class. Though, I'll need to know who hasn't gotten a class and has been waiting for a while.)
