My friend and I are totally addicted. We watch it all; G1, Prime, Animated, Live action movies, Beast Wars, all of it. Actually <-- that is the order of my favorites, though Prime may overtake G1 as my top fave.
As for characters... oh boy. That's hard.

1. Starscream (In G1, animated, and the movies)
2. Ratchet and Knockout from Prime (Major tie there)
3. Megatron
4. Prowl (G1)
5. Jazz
6. Prowl again, but Animated this time
7. Sunstreaker and Sideswipe
8. Wheeljack
9. Shockwave
10. Blitzwing (TFA)
11. Wreck-Gar (TFA)
And many, MANY more.

By mostly it's Starscream, Knockout, and Ratchet. It's really a tie for first, but Screamer would never stand for that.

I like al 3 of them but TFPified. but my ultimate #1 is Movie Optimus prime, 2nd by TFP Optimus Prime and Movie Ironhide
