Melodie smiled and took her hand up, moving it in a way that said kind of. "I guess, birds are better." she said, smirking happily.

Melodie smiled and laughed at Coultons humor, then at the squirrel. She moved some red hair from her face and smiled wider than she had. She blinked as she turned her glaze to the rooms and walls around her.

Melodie hesitated, nodded. "Yeah, but only 'cause they were scammers and if they got rid of me, I would lead the cops somewhere." she said, looking down at her feet once again.

Alois growled lowly to the boy. " if you dare touch her in any other way then helping then i'll-!" he was about to continue but Claude pressed a pressure point in his neck that made him pass out. "... you should have no other problem's now ... do you need assistance?" the butler asked towards James.

"I'm sorry..." I said. " I never new my mom she died when I was born, my dad thought it was my fault so I don't know if things would have changed." I said trying to comfort her.

Melodie nodded. "It's fine, I should be the sorry one. You only had a dad. But it's fine, because I'm here now, and I'm okay." she smiled at him half heartedly, remembering the day she got the new that her parents died, and the few months later that every one had turned her dpwn for adoption.
