I don't know. Around here, most people don't know who they are and if they recognize the name, it's because of the song What Makes You Beautiful because that's like, the only One Direction song on the radio by them. xD I don't even thing they play that one all that frequently. I heard about them from my friend long before they played anything on the radio or their CD came out.
