*Nicole resisted the urge to growl back
at the girl. "Who was that?" she asked
quietly, flashing invisible for a moment
before bringing herself back to the
visible spectrum.*

"Melitta," he replied simply, and kept walking without so much of a glance backwards.

*With a last glance backward, Nicole followed
Pietro, anxious to get where they were going.*

Noticing Nicole was nervous, Pietro said a few more things. "She comes here sometimes, but isn't really a part of the team. She's on the other side, but doesn't seem like a threat. She doesn't cause any trouble while she's here, so I leave her be." He kept his eyes on the path ahead, hoping he had chosen the right words.

*"Great," Nicole muttered. "Just what
we needed." She sighed, and stepped
up beside him, lengthening her stride
to match his pace. "Where are we going?"*

Pietro stopped in front of a door. "Here."

*Nicole's breath quickened slightly in
excitement. "Is anyone in there?" she
asked quietly.*

"Maybe." Pietro slipped around a corner. "We could find out."

*Nicole followed, double-checking behind
her to make sure no one had tailed them.*
