I was just about to leave when I heard him call me back,I turned around and went inside closing the door behind me. I followed him and wondered what the letter could have said that was so important, and to where I had to be involved in the matter witch wasn't normal for a women. I had no clue what the letter even said, I wasn't allowed to even know the subject of the letter and I knew not to ask. I wasn't sure what to say or even ask, so i just waited for him to say something or anything really.

"Oh wow, your customs are far more different than my families; even if I would have been the first born I would never get the estate it would go to the first born. The only way i would even have a shot is if for some reason my mother couldn't have anymore kids or never had a son and then I would still have to be married."I said and then listened to him as the tour went on and I got to see just how lovely this old house was, I'd have to say it was simply amazing

Shadow smiled and walked into the store " I need a dress for my friend she is of high statue like me and it shall be her birthday tomorrow.. Think you could have a dress ready by then?" She asked.. "You would get paid with my best coins and a verity of other things if you wish." She winked at him. She looked at the lovely dresses... " I will need a answer soon since i will be leaving soon."

"Now, follow me to the library." He told her. "This is part of your father's will, in it he tells me that I am to recieve a small amount of his fortune, unless I do marry you, then I get the entirety of the estate, as I will be the successor." He said, walking into the library and putting books to the side. He stared down at the tea, wondering what he was going to do with it, and just placed it on another table. He laid out the letter. "Take a seat." He instructed her, sitting down at his own spot. "And he tells me I have a choice to make within two weeks, if I refuse, I still obtain the small sum of money, and if I agree, I get the estate." He told her, looking over the letter. He was a bit low on finances, and could use more money to help pay off the bills. "However, I refuse to sell this house. It has too many memories. So, if I were to agree to this, one of them would have to become a summer home."

"Yes, my father believes that women should be respected as much as men. His reasoning is simply "Without them, we wouldn't even be born." He let's mother help him in financial problems, let's her be a nurse when we get patients, that sort of thing. So, Gen is the successor." Lamont told her, soon entering the kitchen, seeing the head maid cleaning up the kitchen. "Hello Lucy, good to see you." He greeted, nodding to her. She smiled warmly at the boy, but resumed without speaking. "Is the tea ready?" "No, 'fraid not. Would ya like some?" "Yes please, Lucy. Thank you. We'll be back soon." He said, then turned to Effey. "We can take the tour starting in the dining room. She'll get the tea ready, and we'll come back." He told her, smiling lightly.

She had the feeling of being very small. Cecily was outside and even in the open she felt confined to some invisible chain that kept the dog in her place. She felt just like a dog actually. The only part of this new sense of being that this was the first time Cecily had ever felt this way about living here as master's servant. Cecily frowned as she began to feel a bit funny, was she worried about something? No, but it was a close guess to what she was feeling. Cecily then had the sudden urge to talk to somebody. The only person she could think to talk to that wasn't going to make her upset was Alice. After all, Cecily was suppose to be watching her anyway. Cecily quietly made her way back into the house and was relieved to find both the strange woman and the master out of the main entry. Cecily padded up the stairs cat-like and quietly. She was working her way to the other servant's room so gingerly that the floorboards did not even give their squeaky warning. Cecily saw Alice's door and she smiled a bit as she grabbed the handle. The smile faded a bit when she realized the door was locked tight. Cecily looked around, as though her jiggling of the lock had caused someone to notice her. She was silly to believe this though because there was no one behind her. Cecily fumbled a bit with the lock on the door until she heard it click open and the door squeaked a bit on its hinges. "Alice..." She whispered quietly. "Can I come in?" The tone in Cecily's voice was void of her usually childish merriment and replaced with something close to a pleading sound, almost a whimper but with less sadness and more confusion.

I followed him into the library and sat down like he said, I listened to what he said until he was done and then my eyes widen a bit at the news."Really, I see now i understand why it was so important for me to give it to you in person."I said but that was all I said since I was unfamiliar with matters such as these I had no idea what to do about it. But then I felt a bit of pain it was almost as if my farther was birding Leon to be my husband and while I wanted more than anything to be his wife, I wasn't sure if I could do it this way. I began to think that maybe I would get over it in the next two weeks, but than again could I....? I thought to myself not sure how I felt about this, and of course he could always just take the small amount of money instead of the estate; I would say what fool would do such a thing but then again the prince was marriage and that was a huge deal. All these thoughts ran through my mind as I sat there thinking.

"I have learned things about finances and other businesses matters, also about weapons but this was only because I was always a bit nosy in certain things and my father was more than willing to answer my questions, when no one else would"I said and then nodded and began to follow him to the dinning room.(Sorry WB for Effey))

I nodded and got my sketch pad and pencils"Ok so tell me about your friend,how old is she? What are her favorite colors, fabrics? About how tall is she and what is her body type like? And will it be a ball gown, evening gown, special event gown? Low or high neckline?'I asked her questions that I would need to know in order to make the dress and it would be a small issue of getting it the right size since the girl was not here.

I leaped and almost screamed when I heard the door open but then, I heard Cecily's voice and calmed down a bit. But then I thought what about the door, what if he accused me of trying to leave when he came back and found it unlocked or would this be my best chance to make a run for it but I wasn't sure if I would make or if she would be able to tell on me first. I sat up on my bed and just nodded telling her she might as well come in, I would have to find another way to lock the door again so he didn't suspect anything; so I wouldn't get beat.

Cecily was a bit relived when she was permitted to enter. Cecily closed the door quietly behind her and then turned to face Alice. Cecily stood there awkwardly for a while. She didn't know what to say, and if she said it she didn't know if it would sound right. Instead of getting to the point that was bothering her, Cecily informed Alice of more practical matters. "Someone has arrived. A stranger." Cecily finally said as she stood there looking down. "I think... I think she is a foreigner. She looks different and... acts, different." Cecily was scratching the top of her forehead a bit as she tried to think of a way to introduce the subject of her discomfort. "So... were you painting?" Cecily said too awkwardly as she looked over at the picture. She hoped that her odd style would provoke some type of curiosity for Alice to question why.

"Yes, so considering this is the matter at hand, you should probably stay here for a while until I make my decision. I'll find Cecily and have her get a room for you. I have two other guests as well, a noble girl and her servant, so you may hear them, as they talk rather loudly. Also, if I do agree, we would have to plan some kind of wedding, though just getting the certificate of marriage would suffice as well; but for now, I will inform Cecily." He said, leaving the letter on the table. It would be safe there. "Unless there's a room already prepared, but it is doubtful." He said, now standing. "But after I tell Cecily to get a room ready, I have business to attend to that requires privacy." He added, heading towards the door. "Please make yourself at home, but please do not go up to the third floor."

"I wanted to learn about them, and was forced to, as I am a male." Lamont said, then opened the doors to the dining room. "This is the dining room. All original woodwork and decor. I hear it's mahogany trim, but I'm not sure." He said, looking around the room. The walls were a sage green with deep wood trim all around, the trim being carved into fancy designs at the windows and the doors. The floor was white marble with dark marble swirled into it, with a matching sage rug underneath the mahogany table and chairs. There was one large window, spanning an entire wall, with large sage curtains with gold embroidery on the edges, held back by a golden colored rope. "We try to keep everything original, from when the place was first built."

Geneveive stepped inside the house, assuming the horse outside belonged to a colleague of her father's. She went to her mother's room, finding her there again. "I have your dress." She told her, handing her the green box. "Oh, thank you dear." She said with a smile, and Geneveive soon left. She didn't know what she was going to do while she waited for night to arrive. There wasn't much she could do. Maybe she would go snatch something from the kitchen... Lucy always seemed to have something good to eat.

I nodded and stood up as he left"Alright,I won't. I'll go tell my carriage boy to get a few of my things from the house"I said and walked over to the door with him. 'OK Yuki, you are staying at his house that means keep up your manners especially with this matter that has come about; you don't want to freak him out too much but don't change yourself completely, just act like you would around farther proper but yourself' I thought to myself as I headed out the door, I went and told the carriage boy to go back and have the maids pack my bags for awhile and to tell my family I would just be here for awhile unless he was to agree. He didn't ask why since he knew he wasn't supposed to all he did was nod and leave, I prayed the maid would pack at least a few Kimonos these dress were just awful. I thought to myself as I adjusted it as best I could and then I began to wander around the house but doing as he said and staying clear of the third floor.

I gasped in the sight of it's beauty and was taken aback for a moment, I stepped in the door and did a full spin looking around the whole room it was breath taking"This is amazing, I've never seen something so grand"I say and walk around gently running my figures on things and looking at others. This was amazing it wasn't my taste but still It was very nice and the room went so well together; I heard the click, click of my heels and thought that had to get annoying on the marble. While hard wood wasn't much better this made the sound echo through the room and was slightly more annoying and I had grow used to the sound of heels and wood; I keep looking over everything, trying to take in what I could there was so much detail and thought put into it that it made the whole room look even better.

"Yes, I thought since it had been so long it would be nice to see if I was still any good. So we have another guest and different how?"I ask a bit curious, wondering just who this new girl was and what he business was with him; But then again I guessed I was the only one who truly knew of him or possible miss Shadow could as well. It made me start to think if the fact that Cecily had somehow unlocked the door and came in would get ether of us in trouble, I hoped not since all we were doing was talking all the chores were done and I had not tired to run away but that was out of shear fear of what might happen if I couldn't get away fast enough.

Cecily paused as she tried to summon the words to describe the new guest. She couldn't say anything bad since she didn't really know the guest too well, despite whether or not she liked the guest at all. "Well... she has, different customs, then us I suppose." Cecily began, rubbing the back of her head a bit awkwardly as she stared back down at her feet. "I think she likes being, uh, close and open to other people. I'm not sure I don't know much about Asian cultures." Cecily stated as she finally looked back up as she neck was beginning to strain. "Um... do you mind if I sit next to you?" Cecily asked quietly as she took a few steps in Alice's direction. Looking back at the painting, Cecily couldn't help but smile a little. It was beautiful. "You really have an amazing talent Alice. I wish I had something like that." Cecily said, with a soft smile and a small bit of her optimistic tune returning to her chirp.
