Wishstar looked at the she-cat with a nod. "I will think about it. If we can find trusted cats it will work. Now, another is waiting for me," She said. Oddly enough, she could sense the presence of Blackpaw, but was clueless to the other apprentice.

He knew she wended him. He turned visable, and stepped from the bushes. "Er--Wishstar? Can I speak to you?" He said. His voice was quiet--it always was, hollow, because he always felt an urge of sadness, and sometimes fear.

Mousepaw watched them end their conversation. " Wishstar? " He said.

Spiderkiss dipped her head and padded out, bored.

"I believe you already are. But continue," She said. Wishstar watched the apprentice with a touch of mild curiousity and a look of patience. She glanced up at the other apprentice."A moment please," She said to him.

"Okay!" Mousepaw said and waited playing with his tail.

Blackpaw glanced at Mousepaw. When did--? He sighed and looked back at Wishstar.

"Go on," Wishstar said, looking bored. So many requests for her tonight.

Blackpaw hesitated, then discribed his vision. "I had a vision...I was padding along a stream. The trees were dead and unusually tall. The shade covered everything, even the sky...the sun was black, a this sparkling layer around it. Then when I looked down, a blurred white tom was stabbing in the water. Looking right at me...then he dissapeared."
