Ryan caught the branches in his arms and began filling the holes in with twigs.

When they had enough branches, she jumped from the tree, looking around. The sun was blazing hot, and they needed food, but walking without cooling might kill them. "We should rest for a half hour, to cool off and rest," she suggested.

Castella frowned softly and shook her head. "No, we better not," She replied. "It's probably where some other tributes are hiding out, like the Careers." She explained quietly, watching as the sun slowly rose just above the horizon. "We should probably just keep traveling deeper into the woods and try to find some water."

"Cool off with what," Ryan asked. He had a water bottle but he knew it would be best to save it for later.

She tried not to roll her eyes--she was always slapped for it. "I mean in the shade..." she said.

"You know we can rest in the shade, right?" Ryan pointed out.

Tayla looked at her feet. "N-nevermind..." she sighed and say down, taking out her tribute item from her bag. It was a small Teddy bear--it was kiddish, but it was given to her by a six-year-old at the orphanage. She moved.it's arms gently. The three was slowly becoming undone, and one of.the.blue eye buttons had fallen off.

Ryan glanced at her questioningly wondering why she would have a teddy bear in the arena.

She stared at the bear, suddenly remembering who gave it two her. Cassie...the little girl had died recently...many of them in district Six had been, from some virus that was spreading around.
Tayla blinked out of her memory, and put the bear away.

Ryan looked a bit confused but just blinked it away. He thought it was probably her token from her district like his necklace, but why would she bring a teddy bear?
