Rowan had already awoken and was straitening up around camp. There was some fresh kill alreasdy beack for the morning, and he guessed it was Lor and Vera who had already headed out for the morning hunt to bring the food back in to the pack for the morning. He threw it into a more tightly packed pile as to try to keep the bugs off of it before listening to the world around him. it was still cold from the snow fall that was typical in a mountain winter. The bad part of living in the mountains, it was cold in the winter, very cold. Colder than even he with his long red coat really liked.
He heard the stirirng in his parents, the leaders of mountain pack's den. He walked over to outside the den awaiting for his mother to step into the light, and hearing her gathering howl before she left the den completely. "Mother, Juliet." he said to her bowing his head as he normally did to Juliet as a form of courtisie to his leader, and his own mother both for that fact. "I have much to discuss with you and father Jasper after this meeting." he said to her with a slight nod as he let her pass by him and awaited for his father to leave the den.
Rowans ears were pirked and alert as he awaited for the footsteps of his large pack to start taking over to clearing. he knew that gathering was no problem for them. For now they all listened to everything his father had to say. But Jasper was aging rapidly, and Rowan still needed more leader training so when the time came, he oculd challenge any and prove that the leader's position belonged to him rightfully, and more than just passed down like a monarchy. And in the next few years he would work on gaining his packs respect. he was wise for his age, and planed to use it. But he had a rough nature, and if need be, he would release it. No hesitations this time.

Lor had a large rabbit in her mouth as she returned to camp. The legs were dangling, and the cold already preserving the meat well so the pack would be able to eat well yet agiain. She knew here in mountain pack they were much better off food wise than in Valleypack, and the thought of it almost made her want to bark in happiness.
Lor was a frisky wolf, who was very talented in hunting, but oh she was a frisky thing. Her paws treaded almost silently on the frozen underbrush, and although the cold still hurt her new to the weather pads, she always found a way to fight through it. She was a strong wolf, stronger than most could gauge for a huntress, but she knew her own potential, and that alone could press her forward.
She returned closer to camp, and heard the gathering call of Juliet and picked up her pace to a faster trot. She was soon nearing camp,a nd she dropped the rabbit int he pile, waiting by it for the other wolves to leave the dens, and hopefully she would find Dakota and be able to sit by (him? ahemm, *hint*, find her,*hint*).
