BANDEDOWL | Warrior | Male
Bandedowl smiled, perking his ears back up.
"Atta boy!" He meowed, almost teasingly.
"Yes, let's." He continued. "I'm dying to see what sort of trouble he's gotten himself into this time." He strolled alongside Icetalon, glancing over his shoulder to make sure Echopaw was following. He clenched his teeth as they came up on the clearing, not entirely ready to face whatever horror awaited them within. He shoved his fears back down into the pit of his stomach, eyes glaring straight ahead in forced reassurance. His head felt light and ached slightly, the scent of blood beginning to sting his air passages.
"Aaaah- Wildblaze me ol' chap!" He meowed loudly upon entry of the clearing, his eyes shut tight as he stridently swung around the trunk of the last oak which stood between clearing and forest. "It's about time we caught up with you, you've been away since dawn. Did you kno-" The tom trailed off as he opened his eyes, taking two swaggering steps before halting in front of the scene.
He stared down at the growing pool of blood, his wavering gaze tracing the fallen branches up to the source of the leak. Just the sight of the precariously dangling she-cat made his fur stand on end. The loner returned his stare with terror, not because of the state she was in, but because of the toms presence. Bandedowls mouth hung open in a frown, and he slowly drug his gaze away from Vivace and back to Wildblaze.
"Auuhhh...." He lifted a paw and pointed a claw at the bloody feline, a shocked and questioning look on his face.
VIVACE | Loner | Female
Vivace sharply snapped her gaze back over to the entrance to the clearing, picking up the sound of paw steps and voices drawing near. She clenched her teeth, a feeling near fear creeping into her chest. The loner desperately glanced back up at Wildblaze, begging him to hurry. Even if he did get her out, she wouldn't have the strength to run as she so badly craved. That however, wasn't at the front of her mind at the moment.
Vivace inhaled sharply, unsheathing her claws and whipping her eyes back to the entrance of the clearing. Her paws strained with pain, but she didn't pay them any attention. Her eyes were glued on the noisy stripped tom, wide with inexplicable fear. She swallowed down a painful lump in her throat and watched him carefully. On instinct she analyzed him from the top of his head to the soles of his paws without realizing what she was doing. He stared her in the eyes and she felt a lurch in her stomach as she tried to conceal her terror. Her breathing picked up, causing a burn in her chest, and a ripple of pain to shoot throughout her body. She openly ignored the aches as she looked over to Wildblaze, anticipating his next move.
