That's a bummer. My experiment should be starting tomorrow, but I'm not certain as to which site I should put it on to hatch, or how many minutes to start before it is due to die.

I put mine in, like about 10 ERs 6 minutes before it would die, yet it still died anyways, so I'm suggesting at least 10 minutes before it's time of death. That's just enough time for it to receive the right amount of clicks and hatch and it's not too long before the egg's last minutes of life.

Actually, yesterday, I put my test subject in many ER's when it had 5 mins left and it hatched normally with 30 seconds left to live.

Defenetly do not post it 10 minuites before It's ToD! I post mine 5 min. Or maybe sometimes 6. Remember it is mostly luck weather it turns or not

Yes, well, mine died even though I put it into a lot of ERs. Perhaps the problem was that the ERs didn't have a lot of people there at that time, but who knows?

Ah, thank you for that information. I caught it at 5:03, so I'm guessing I should try to hatch it at 4:53. Would that be decent?

Well, for starters I think one should try 10 minutes. Perhaps if one were more experienced turning NDs, I'd suggest 5 to 6 minutes, but 10 minutes seems more reasonable for people attempting their first try at creating a ND to me. But, it's just an opinion, so you're free to start your experiment whenever you want to.
