That's just... no.
I wish we would just switch already. :b

I like the metric system.
It's fun confusing people with the "Deca_____" and "deci_____" and "Hecta____" and all those less commonely used prefixes (I guess...) instead of "Kilo____" and "_____" and "centi____" and (I guess) "milli____).
And inches confuse me so much.
And I have no clue how big a foot or yard is.
And I'm not going to attempt to measure a yard.

Annoyance:
Lets take the number "61.2"
Everyone in my class, including the teacher, would say "Sixty-one point two".
I would say "Sixty-one and two tenths."
Now, lets take the number "413 840".
My class would say "Four hundred and thirteen thousand, eight hundred and forty".
I would say "Four hundred thirteen thousand, eight hundred forty".
I'm not sure why, but it annoys me that it seems that either my previous teacher tought us the wrong stuff last year, my classmates haven't learned the "proper" (according to my previous teacher) way to say numbers (I guess..?) or my classmates are ignoring it, and my teacher either is also ignoring it or she doesn't know the "proper" way, either.
Why this annoys me so much, I'll never know.
