((Lol, sorry for the wait!! :U I was trying to decide how to approuch the post. X3))
~ Halo ~
Halo smiled as Bandit skidded to a stop, her warm touch causing him to give a light chuckle. Had she really been this worried about him? He gently lowered his head as she rested hers over his withers, and gave a contented sigh. This was the closest to a mare he'd been since ages ago, and it made him a little nervous how soon things were moving along. What if he was getting excited too soon, too early on in their relationship? He'd only just met her a few hours ago, and he could mess everything up in a much shorter amount of time than that. Yeah he'd been in relatonships before, two of them pretty serious, but something always had to happen. Something always had to destroy every little thing he'd worked so hard to build on. The thought of losing Bandit, the mare with the mysteriously rose hued eyes.... it made him ever more vulnerable. He needed to slow things down a bit, nurture their bond, get to know her better. Before he showed too much enthusiasm and caused her to run for the hills. Some mares were like that you know. Though he really did like her, and it would only take that one, extra nudge to make it blossom from there. "Dead? Naww, Canad's a better guy than that." he replyed light heartedly, trying to comfort the shaken mare. She seemed to be very much distressed by what had just happened, and to be quite frank, it had distressed him as well. It was a very real hysteria to consider, since he knew a Lead Stallion right off the top of his head that would kill for a mare. His father. "He's just very lonely is all." he added with a wistful edge, his eyes growing a little far away at the thought. He'd been lonely before, lonely and heart broken at the age of 2. After he ran away from his herd, his mother's death just moments behind him, with that horrible storm raging over head.... a small, but subtle chill rolled down his spine, and one ear swiveled back in thought. "Though if he'd open his eyes for one minute, that stallion's got a mare just waiting for him to notice her existance." he chuckled, shaking his head with utter disbelief. Famous was quite the looker actually, with that dun coat and sky blue eyes, he couldn't believe Canad kept brushing her off like that. She'd find somebody though, some day, somebody who appreciated her, and then she'd be out of the lead's reach forever. As he breathed in Bandit's almost floral scent, his ears pricked at a noise. He could see bright, contrasting colors flailing in his peripheral, and knew at once that the mare in queston was Dolce. This wasn't good, her tone, the fact that she was calling his name. "Dolce? What's wrong?!" he shouted urgently, lifting his head with pricked ears. He sensed trouble, and was immediately alerted to not only Livius' absence, but Famous' as well.
