Laying there, eyes closed and breathing heavy, Alec tumbled into a deep sleep. As thunder boomed and lightning flashed, all he was doing was sleeping. He was completely clueless to anything around him as he dreamed of the night he killed his sister.

Breath coming fast to him, he tried to pull against the restraints. Why couldn't he simply move his arms or legs? Again pulling at the sharp metal, Alec gazed around the room till his eyes landed on his sister. She was staring at him, trying to get him to calm down. How come she wasn't freaking out too? It made no sense to him, but he knew that he had to get over there and save her. Needles were scattering her clothed body. Five or six stuck in every one of her limbs, and an I.V. was attached to the blond's arm.
"Izzy?" Alec called over to her, feeling scared and helpless.
The girl raised her head and smiled at her brother, a lock of hair falling over her right eye. "Shh, it's alright. Just stay calm, okay? We'll beat this, just like every other time. For mum," It was always for their mum, every time they had an experimenting project they got through it for their mother, an experiment gone wrong.
Still, he was scared and afraid of the needles. "But what'll happen?" Sniffling, Alec wiped his tears on the shoulder of his T-shirt.
"Honostly? I don't know Alec, I just don't know. I can't see whats going to happen next." An odd looked crossed her eyes, but he couldn't tell what it was. Pain? Hurt? Confusion? He wasn't sure, and he didn't like it when Izzy wasn't sure.

Jerking into an upright position, Alec's eyes popped open as his breathing came in large gasps. Realizing it was just the same dream, he relaxed a little. Isabella was already gone, and he wasn't about to kill her all over. He ran a hand over his ribs, fingers gently pressing on them. They felt better after he'd gotten some rest, and the pain was much more bearable, but some were obviously broken.
He turned his head towards the sunrise, surprised that he'd managed to sleep the full night without waking up screaming. The first thing he learned was that it was drizzling still, and he was under a tree. Odd, hadn't he been out in the clearing? The second thing though, was that the green cat was out there were he'd been. Maybe he ought to go over there, and he was really thinking about it until he got the nagging feeling that if the cat wanted company then she would come to him.

Morning rays of sunlight was the first thing she seen when waking up her eyes covered in glassy tears she cryed last night, and her coat covered in dripping rain of dew covering her short pelt. Her body rested against the spot where Alec layed before she moved him, and the last thing she could remember from the night was the blood slowly seeping from her side onto the ground as well as a flash of dark thunder roaring above them. Raising up her body to sit her head turned after to carefully lick the cut from the branch now already a bit red from the water last night, and whatever else. Hearing him wake her ears slowly went against her head sadly her orbs already seeming dead from the night, but more with lack of company or even caring about the one person she thought cared. A soft crow sounded above her cawing its deep dark voices out into the cold draining morning, but not even the sun laying against her back powered her up.
It was upsetting. With nothing more to do her body rose up from the grass blood drops slowly dripping off the green gently before heading over into the shade where Alec was, but keeping far away from him. Her bell around her neck rang softly in chimes, but with her mood it was no longer happy sweet melody though a more dark bell of a tower. The bell was deep echoing her own mood. She sat down again nearby the edge of the shade to let her body rest in the shade away from where Alec might even reach over to touch her as well as bother her. She thought carefully about the whole ordeal. Her mind hurting as she sat there her eyes closed in deep thought trying to wonder if she should leave to find Unknown herself alone, or stay with Alec, because right now she felt she was getting more hurt then before with him so it was hard to think about it. Though she was.

Revitka flitted quickly from Formosa's shoulder, to a perch on Liz's head. He began picking at strands of Lis's red-brown hair. This one's hair has a funny taste to it. Is it better for nests? Revitka questioned Cass, much to the girl's amusement. "Liz's hair is not for making nests. You need sticks and mud for that, hair will do you no good." Then Cass's eyes went from the bird on Liz's head to her face, then to the other girls in the group. They must thing she was mad, not even someone with crazy powers talked to starlings. It just wasn't the way of the humans. "Sorry about Revitka, he's very curious." Cass was certain she was blushing at this point, she was making such a fool of herself after all. Why hadn't she just continued to the caves where the bats were, things were so much easier with them. "I didn't see anyone on the way up, whoever it is you were spying on probably isn't too close anymore." And so her last attempt at normalicy went. She sat down on a stump, crossed her legs and hoped it had worked. Though humans weren't her favorite creatures for friends, she would need to have some of them if she were to get out of here.

Despite her serious and tired mood, laughter bubbled from her mouth. As she went cross-eyed to try and see the bird, Liz couldn't stop her laughter as it brought tears to her tired eyes. It really wasn't that funny, but for some reason she could not quit laughing at all. She didn't even think about the fact that Cass was talking to the bird.
Finally able to control her peircing laughter, Elizabeth coughed to cover up the amusement in her tone. "That's alright," She smiled at the girl and sighed softly. The sound escaping from between her lips, she had to agree with her. It seemed her brother and his 'friend' weren't out there anymore. Or, were they? She sat up slowly, making sure her eyes weren't tricking her. Sure enough, he brother was striding towards the labs, without Grace, and in her place a different boy with blond hair. Who was that? And why did it look like Shawn was wincing with every step? "What's wrong with him?" Liz didn't wait for the others to try and respond her agree that was him, she just took off for them. Her Where was Grace? Why wasn't she with them? Was she hurt, if she was why wasn't she with them? Had something happened? Who was this new guy? Yet another of his friends?
"Shawn!"

Exasperated, he could only follow behind the guy. What was his problem? He finally tells the guy sorry about it and he just blows it off like they guy hadn't even heard a word of it. Crossing his arms Shawn glared at the blond's back, not liking him even more now. Couldn't he have at least said something about it? Say 'yeah, sure' or something! Pissed, he glared at Jake but didn't say a mean word to him.
"We go left and follow the trail then." He spoke simply and agreeingly, though he did hesitate. Maybe this was his chance to be a little more friendly to the guy? Immiedatelly Shawn tossed that idea from his head and just walked towards the door, a small wince visible on his face with every step. That's when he heard Liz, and even more exasperated, he threw his hands into the air and turned around. "What?!" His voice was cold and hard, and he didn't care. He was sick and tired of caring about every little detail of her life, and he had just about had enough of girls for the day.
"Why are you even here?!" If it hadn't been for the fact Jake had tapped his powers and he was so tired, then ice would have been trying to force its way up from his anger.
Though Liz flinched at his voice she knew enough not to ask. Stuttering, she answered his question. "I- W-we -I. . .What happened?" Her voice was soft and caring, and her eyes pleaded to know what happened.
"You should know! You were spying on us!" Shawn barked out, flat out tired of holding in sharp or rude comments.

As silently as he could he pulled his legs up close to him. For some reason he felt he should say something to her, though his mind kept telling him she was just a cat. Was she really only that? A cat that had odd powers? He felt like there was something else to her, yet he couldn't put his finger on it quite yet. Hugging his knees, Alec rest his chin on his knee and gazed over the grassy land. They should be getting going soon. With a soft sigh, he easily pulled himself up and into a standing position. Again, he felt he should talk to the cat. It seemed to have a more complex mind then that of the average house cat.
"I've got a friend to look for, you can come if you want or you can stay. I'd like to have you come with, but if you want to stay here by yourself you are more then welcome." For him he felt accomplished, he didn't think he had even said that much to Lulu at one time. Except for when she said she was going to run off into the woods, but that didn't count, he was afraid of loosing his only friend. "Her name's Lulu, so maybe you could help, if you'd like to come along. She. . .I'm not sure. I like her," His cheeks tinged with a soft blush at the words, and yet Alec felt a flood of relief. He had managed to speak just like he'd wanted to last night.

Hearing his voice her body turned towards him her side bleeding starting to crust over for her after the whiles time, though she wished he could really at least care about a simple cat. it was sad to see that even in this form he could not notice her at all due to some clear facts she shown of herself. The words that he spoke rang though her head softly as he began to stand eager to look for her it seemed. Her head then turned to face him her blue sea eyes soften with pain over them, but still like a cat she nodded softly adding in a meow as well.
Then he mentioned her name her ears going straight up to hear right after that he sorta liked her. She smiled softly her body bouncing up from sitting to stand near his feet with a soft flick of her tail. For now the pain was forgotten, but hearing he was going to try to fidn her gave her a bit glee for now.
