Megan watched Spade disappear in her rearview mirror as her dad sped off. She was too heartbroken to put her seatbelt on.

Spade
watched the car tears stinging his eyes he wasn't going to let them out but then he gave in and started crying wishing that she didn't have to stay with her father he watched the car disappear he jumped into the air and unfurled his long black wings flapping upwards going as high as he could he watched megans fathers car still crying slightly he watched megan hoping that her father wouldn't beat her if he did spade would kill him he snapped a stick in his hands angry at her father
